I have already touched on this topic before but I was only talking about it after a few days of using both platforms, now I have been using both platforms for more than a month and I want to tell you about the results obtained so far as well as some things that have happened to me.

So let's start with Steemit

In Steemit I have been posting content constantly if not every day, besides giving votes to posts or comments that I like (despite inferiority in voting level); on the other hand, I have been posting mostly in English-speaking communities, since in those that are of the Spanish language are governed by regulations that are alien to the Steemit, for example: accrediting yourself to that community by taking a real image of the user as a way of presentation -which I refused to do because it is not what I want with my account, that is, anonymity is over.

It is also worth mentioning that these communities coordinate all their strategies to provide the votes to the participants through messaging applications such as Telegram and Discord, which gives the impression that they do not really evaluate the quality of the article but other criteria that only the coordinators themselves handle.

One of the things that did happen to me and I accept the sanction that was imposed was the removal of a publication I made in one of these communities, which argued that I was not accredited to them, but what made me angry was the accusation of "plagiarism", something that actually is not so because the content is my authorship, and to top it off the "not citing the sources of the images used", in which I did specify it at the end of the article. Because of all this, I decided to publish in communities that are in English, and that is where I have noticed a freedom (as long as it does not break the rules of Steemit) to publish our content.

On the other hand, my economic income in Steemit has been almost null, but what keeps me working on it until now is the interaction between users through comments and votes.

To give you a better idea of what I have so far in terms of activity I present this summary:

  • 131 posts.

  • 15 SP.

Of all the data I think these are the most important.

Now let's go to Hive Blog

In Hive Blog I have not had any problems so far in terms of breaking any laws or receiving any call to attention from any moderator, and that's because I have taken a good look at the dynamics and structures of other users' posts as a way of example to follow. As for the communities in which I have joined, these have been receptive but have not taken me into account to receive votes, only some users who have shown interest in my content.

Most of my publications are in two languages (English and Spanish) except for some that are entirely in Spanish.

What is uncomfortable when interacting within the Hive is the lack of HP (Hive Power), which is a level of credit so you can post and comment, because if you run out of what you have you can not do anything else until the next day when you will be recharged completely unless you invest money.

I have also noticed that they coordinate activities through Discord.

And as for outstanding achievements you have:

  • 14 publications.

In short, I think I will continue with both as far as I can, I still do not lose anything by having them and in the best case I can get to have followers.

As for you, how has your experience been, do you think it is better to join the communities or not? Tell us your experiences or opinions in the comments box.

Without further ado, I'll see you in the next installment.

Congrats on signing up on both platforms. I signed up to Steemit 5 years ago and it was a great experience because I quickly participated in several art communities and also one Asian community. Steemit was a great place to be during that time. The engagement was great and so did the votes. My content was curated almost on regular basis by the big guys like Curie, or OCD. And I was active in participating in art contests as well. But since the crisis with Justin Sun and all that debacle, I jumped ship to Hive. I powered down and withdrew my Steem. I am having a great time in Hive. I mostly submitted my content to the art communities and the ASEAN community.

Yes, I've been told about the Steemit debacle, it's a shame to see that happen. On the other hand I'm glad you are doing well in Hive, I wish you the best and lots of success. Thanks for sharing your experience.

For more exposure, it's better to post it in the communities. You can try these communities:

Steemit https://steemit.com/trending/hive-182834 https://steemit.com/trending/hive-182834

Hive: https://peakd.com/c/hive-174301/trending https://peakd.com/c/hive-158489/created

Yes, there are drop links strats happening, not just on Steemit but also on Hive and Blurt. Mods are monitored by the STEEMIT team. I've known some accounts that are like this, but so far, they are not moderators. They're just someone who has enough STEEM/Hive power in their wallet. Because if you curate a post, you will earn curation rewards, a win-win situation. That's why they'll just upvote everything.

Cualquier cosa pregunta, espero ayudarte.
