Reflections on Atheism and Agnosticism
Just yesterday I came across a publication in NoiseCash about a book about God. The book, if I remember correctly, is called "The mirage of God", whose author I don't know. As soon as I read the article referring to the book, I started to reflect in a general way about why a person can have an agnostic position before this figure or in case atheist; and it seems that the latter is much more notorious from my point of view when I see the comments that are published on the Internet.
I try to understand both, and if you analyze one by one you can come to think that, for example, in the case of atheism is to intellectualize the non-existence of a supreme being who created everything in the universe including ourselves, and which must follow its rules, and something that can share both believers and non-believers is the discomfort with respect to that point because it goes against the "ego".
Another possible argument against it are the tragic events in the life of a person who decides not to believe is the feeling of frustration or resentment (so to speak) towards God for allowing death or injustices in this world.
As for agnosticism, it seems that such a position or idea is about a belief that is not quite complete, that is, believing under the suspicion that there is a God whose figure is mysterious and has never left a trace in this world or has never had any kind of encounter with his creation. Or that perhaps all existing religions are possible interpretations of God and that we will never have a correct definition of who he really is during our stay in this existential plane.
It seems that each person or social group maintains their arguments and that in the end each one will try to maintain it or give in to new events in their lives until they change their minds. Personally, I must say that before I considered myself agnostic, and after certain events in my personal life that led me to know and leave the prejudices that I had about God but to read the sacred scriptures. I must say that it is incredible to me how these writings so diverse among themselves manage to maintain a line of argument and that it is not only to clarify the creation of life but also to transform them under the guidance of these.
As for you, which one do you identify with, do you believe that any of these ideas prevails over the population, have you met people who profess any of those described? Your opinions will be well received, always do it within the framework of respect which you also have the right to receive, even so you can share your anecdotes or reflections.
Without further ado, I will see you in the next installment. See you then.

Regarding what you say, atheism can be due to several factors in my opinion. It can even be a phase in being human, a phase where you doubt about everything in your life, and where you don't know what you want. It happened to me at one point. It can also be a kind of weird fad, where you've seen cases. Or, as you say, these people don't really believe in God because for them the idea may not make sense. To believe in God you have to have a lot of faith, and belief in him is something difficult to describe because you just feel it, you have that certainty. But there are people for whom it is not like that, and who only use logic, so they do not give permission to other things like the spiritual plane, (with this I mean the soul), to open up and feel, to believe, to trust, and even to be happy.
Faith is like love, blind. But filled with so many things that are the basis of our lives, like trust, for example.
