New TMNT drawing: Leonardo
We continue with more drawings, and this time it's time to present one made with Crayola colored pencils; and focused on one of the main characters of the popular TMNT work.
It should be noted that I got the reference image for this drawing from the Internet, and its design is based on the comics.
And as for our work we will proceed in this way: we will use the grid technique in order to facilitate the sketching process and in turn save time.
Once the sketch is done we will proceed to outline with a pen, and we will remove all the graphite with a white eraser.
From this moment on we color like this: Leonardo's skin will have green, jade green, and white -this to obtain a shiny and/or gradient of jade green. The mask contains blue, light blue, and white. The handle of the swords: fuchsia blue - since no such color was available, it was created with a combination of blue, red, and black. The strap: brown, light brown and tan. Buckle: gray, and white to give a variety of shades of gray. And obviously all the shadows are in black.
And that's it! We are done with our work 😃 What do you think?
I hope this will motivate you to do it. And remember you can comment at the end of this post, I'll be reading and giving you feedback. I also appreciate all the support received from all of you.
Without more to say I'll see you in a next installment.
Until then 😎👍.
