New drawing: Bart Simpson on skateboard

We continue with our section of drawings, and this time is dedicated to Bart Simpson, who is one of the main characters of the acclaimed animated series for adults of the Fox company.

And this drawing unlike its original appearance has some variants, as it sought to create lighting effects and shadows with color gradients, something that may not be noticed clearly due to the quality of Crayola crayons that does not allow it or if the view through digital photographs is not the same as in reality. Still enjoy this work that will be shown below:

We start with the creation of the sketch with a 3H pencil.

Then we mark all the lines with a black ink pen, this in order to make the outline and proceed with the coloring.

Already in this step (last) we will paint the character from the head, applying the yellow faintly to one side because the light source is projected strongly in that area unlike the other side where there are shadows - the brown color is used.

In the case of its T-shirt, it will have a gradient that goes from orange-yellow through orange to red (shadows).

The shorts will also feature a gradient of light blue and blue; likewise on his shoes. The soles of his shoes will be gray on a smaller scale as the pencil is slightly used.

As for the skateboard, it will be yellowish green with a yellow tone on the top and dark green on the bottom; its wheels are a gradient between pink, magenta and red; and the skull decal, we just painted the fire with yellow, orange and red.

And the name of the series will be reddish orange and black ballpoint ink.
