Greetings friends of the community, this time I come to present a list of what I consider to be the best bands and singers I have listened to over the years, based on the statistics of my personal LastFM account, so without further ado let's get started.
BANDS
1 - The Black Keys
2 - The Rolling Stones
3 - Kasabian
4 - Gustavo Cerati
5 - The Killers
6 - Queens of the Stone Age
7 - Arctic Monkeys
8 - AC/DC
9 - Bersuit Vergarabat
10 - Muse
As you may have noticed, many of these artists belong to the rock genre, and among them are of various nationalities: British, American and Argentinean. In the case of the Argentines we have one of the greats of the music of that country as it was Gustavo Cerati, who among his beginnings was part of the band Soda Stereo, and then when he separated from it began his solo career; but unfortunately Gustavo came to die in the city of Caracas on September 4, 2014, at age 55 due to a stroke. As for Bersuit Vergarabat, it is a group that managed to combine several Latin American rhythms such as cumbia, tango, murga, reggae, chacarera and candombe. Their vocalist Gustavo Cordera was considered their main point of reference, but in 2009 he became a soloist.
ALBUMS
1 - Live From The Royal Albert Hal - The Killers
2 - Ahi Vamos en Vivo - Gustavo Cerati
3 - Live! - Kasabian
4 - AM - Arctic Monkeys
5 - Them Crooked Vultures - Them Crooked Vultures
6 - El Camino - The Black Keys
7 - OK Computer - Radiohead
8 - Attack & Release - The Black Keys
9 - Sticky Fingers (Super Deluxe Edition) - The Rolling Stones
10 - Oracular Spectacular - MGMT
The first positions are occupied by three albums that allow us to enjoy the live performances of these great bands, which undoubtedly makes us feel as part of the environment in which they were recorded but also to perceive the genius and richness that these musicians have in giving their own songs a new dimension that makes us feel out of this world, a feeling that generates a great satisfaction. The rest are studio recorded productions, ranging from hard rock to psychedelic.
SONGS
1 - R U Mine? - Arctic Monkeys
2 - At Least It Was Here - The 88
3 - Gunman - Them Crooked Vultures
4 - Fire - Kasabian
5 - Shoot the Runner - Kasabian
6 - Somebody Told Me - The Killers
7 - Paranoid Android - Radiohead
8 - Impossible Things - Gustavo Cerati
9 - Shadowplay - The Killers
10 - Read My Mind - The Killers
Among all of them only one is known for being part of the soundtrack of a TV series called Community, and it even appears in the opening of the series. The rest of the songs could be considered as the most representative of the albums to which they belong.
What do you think about the list? If you wish you can leave your recommendations or opinions in the comments box and I will be glad to read them.
Without further ado, I'll see you in the next installment. Best regards.
