Laptop vs. PC, which one is the best?
At the time of acquiring a personal computer (PC) or a laptop, we must always take into account the characteristics of the same to know which is the one that is more convenient in use, performance and modifications that even we ourselves can get to make. And according to my experience that I have had so far has led me to think that one is better than the other for various reasons that we will detail below.
Let's start with the P.C.
People computers are usually high performance as these can work for long continuous hours if desired, we can also use them to edit videos and audios of large sizes, we can also play high performance video games or even from past times using emulators, on the other hand in case we do not like the operating system we can change it completely or create a dual-boot, allowing us to use the one that suits us at the time of turning on the computer.
One of the things we can also do with these machines is to renew the internal components when they tend to fail or in case they become obsolete due to the requirements of the new programs that demand them, for example, we can change the motherboard, the RAM memory, the processing unit (C.P.U), the hard disk among other things. Another thing we can do is to improve the internal cooling system of the computer. A process that can be simple for some or somewhat complicated for those who have no knowledge on the subject of Hardware.
Among the threats that can come to have are the instability by the voltage level supplied by the electrical system, which could lead to the destruction of these devices.
Now let's go to the portable computers, better known as Laptops
These machines have the same internal components as the previous ones, the only difference is to have each of its parts much smaller so that they can work in a small space and in turn be easy to transport. Among the negative points that usually have are the overheating inside, which makes the temperature levels are even excessive if we do not do maintenance or we do not place them in spaces where there is sufficient ventilation. Unlike the PC we can not change its internal parts to increase its capabilities except to a certain extent that is allowed by the way it was created or for repair issues. Its lifespan is very short and will also depend on the type of treatment we are giving it. If for any reason the device is dropped from a high height, it can suffer severe damage. If a part is damaged, this would completely damage the entire body of the laptop, making it impossible to repair. If for some reason we are consuming food, especially beverages, and they spill on it, it would also cause damage to the machine.
With all the above said and after an analysis based on my experience I recommend a personal computer, as they are better for all the features mentioned above.
But if any of you feel otherwise, please let me know in the comments box the pros and cons regarding each one and your experiences with each of these.
Without further ado, we'll get into the next installment. See you then.
