Improving a drawing made in graphite
Some time ago I had created a drawing of Bowser, a character that appears in the Super Mario Bros. videogames. This one is based on an image that is extracted from a magazine, and whose dimensions were very small, so in this version the size is bigger -maybe three times bigger than it is in reality. It is also worth mentioning that, as you will notice below, the difference between one drawing and the other is not only a matter of the graphite or color finish but also the modification of the light projection on the figure.
The graphite version is composed of various levels ranging from HB, 3B and 6B.
And as for the color version, we proceeded in this way: we created a replica with an HB pencil and then highlight all the lines with a black ink pen. Then we will start painting the horns with yellow color, and the hair with a mixture of black and red. As for the face, we will use the color tan, and brown for shaded areas. The inside of the mouth: black, in the center; brown on the sides; brown with black on the tongue. The bracelets, gray. Peach on the chest. The rest of the body: a combination of red, brown and white.
And that's it! We have concluded with our work 😃 What do you think? 😁
I hope this will motivate you to do it. And remember that you can comment at the end of this post, I'll be reading them and giving feedback. I also appreciate all the support received from all of you.
Without more to say I'll see you in a next installment.
Until then 😎👍.

This is great! I really liked that you did the black and white and color version. I also have the same brand of colors, and they are very good.
I was thinking about buying some $4 kores in 24 colors. But, I don't know if they are Kores, or it's some kind of imitation. Will you know?
