Drawing and coloring Bart Simpson
Friends, it is a pleasure to bring you again this section in my channel about the creation of drawings based on famous characters as in this case Bart Simpsons, belonging to The Simpsons, a series that dates back several decades and is still on the air on television.
For the elaboration I had to look for a reference image that I managed to get in a magazine about video games, a very small image compared to the one I have finished making. Then, I proceeded to develop an image for the sketch, which must be made as faithful as possible to the original and that during this process we must correct all the faults that it has before continuing.
Once done the previous thing, we are going to create again the same image to have it in clean and also with the intention of having it as original template at the moment of being wrong when we give it color; what it means is that, we are going to draw on the original image using a sheet on another one, and this can be done either on a glass table with a light source below this one or on the glass of a window with light entrance, which will facilitate us to be able to see with clarity the lines that we are going to draw again.
Already having ready the new template with the image we are going to start coloring using the Prismacolor colored pencils, which are of excellent quality because their consistency is creamy and allows to mix the colors in case it is necessary.
And as you will see we will have our work ready. What do you think?
All these procedures are recommended for those who are starting to draw or want to take it up again either as a hobby or as a profession.
As a clarification regarding one of the colors in the drawing, to be specific the telephone, I had to change its original color because I didn't have the corresponding one because the color box doesn't have it, it only has 12.
Finally, I will mention all the materials used in the creation of this drawing:
Recycled sheet.
Eraser.
Pencil sharpener.
2H pencils.
Prismacolor colors.
Without further ado, I'll see you in the next installment. See you then.
