Interesting the numbers that are throwing the results in the presidential elections of the United States. Much suspense for many, and it is not for less when we talk about the most influential and important country in the world at this time. Russia, China, Africa, Europe and Latin America are waiting for those who will be sitting in the chair of the White House to be able to start again in formulating which strategies and paths to take, or deciding new and old policies to follow.
The stock market is taking these results very seriously, as we have two candidates with very distant expectations and visions of how the financial system will behave. In both visions the radicalism is sitting waiting to manifest itself and draw new horizons is perhaps something that we would not like and we will have to adapt to it.
The interesting thing is that both candidates have points in common and that are not relevant within their current policies, but that will cause a great impact not only in American society but in the rest of the world. Both candidates are presented with a somewhat weak dollar, a currency that is technically beaten and highly sensitive to what could happen with many accusations in the world.
But between these elections, how would Bitcoin look?
I love this part, it is not the first time I have seen this question and to tell the truth, I am very excited to see the answers that I have read. With the elections I have seen projections of 50K, 100K, 500K and even 1000K, but the imagination would have little distance from reality. Although, in an already known environment of instability, the candidates presented by the northern country have not yet figured out how to alleviate the economy that continues to leave bits of instability and manifests itself in many forms and protests.
On the one hand, candidate Biden will only deepen a socialist rhetoric and start a complete war against the entire capitalist system that Wall Street represents. Let's imagine all those people who do not want to lose everything they have or pay more than they owe. The alternatives exist and Bitcoin is among them; I do not see bad numbers for the digital currency, rather I see accelerated exponential growth, with its pertinent corrections.
At the other extreme, we have a Trump candidate with a particular and mediatic way of looking at problems. His work with the Fed and money printing have given paper money a new concept and relevance. Even so, Bitcoin will not stop moving, maybe it will not rise as much as we want, or as fast as we think, but with this scenario it will continue to be an alternative, more than reasonable, to be a reserve to take in the face of inflationary scenarios.
Wherever we see it, our vote must be secure in Bitcoin as an independent candidate that will achieve that balance so necessary for the scenarios to come. Whatever the result, the market, the trend that this currency projects is irreversible, and without any doubt it will be the candidate to defeat the institutional opponents of Asia and Europe in the coming years.
