My thirteen year old nephew had been ask to share a thought for the day at school. And to help him, I came up with this.. " A WISE PERSON LISTENS AND TAKES IN MORE INSTRUCTIONS. " And I added to this little thought: "As being a child and a student, it is truly wise to follow this wise proverb of listening and taking in more instructions. Of course, I need to be mindful of whom I am listening to. I believe that listening to ones parents' and teachers' wise instructions will make me grow up as a wise person. So I'd like to be humble and listen to any beneficial instructions."
I am hoping that he himself will take this "thought" to heart.

I love taking shadow photography. This was taken around ten months ago. That's mind on the left and my two friends' shadows who picked me up at 5am and went to get early morning summer breeze by the sea. We watched the waves after walking around in the water, we watched the birds and some early birds people like us, we chatted no end, enjoyed the breeze and each other's company while the sun was rising behind us. Great vitamin D soak, indeed.^_^♡♡♡

I was feeling adventurous again today. I had been thinking of making a crepe, egg-free and I'd like to call it healthy. This are banana and kiwi crepes.
Basically, I made crepes by combining flour, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, oil and flaxseed meal. I let the batter stand for a bit. Then time to make the crepes. I kept them warm while preparing the fruits. I stirred a bit of cinnamon in honey for drizzle later. Next is assembling time.
I spread a little butter on the still warm crepes, spread the fruit on the crepes, drizzle a bit of honey and fold. Decorate with the remaining fruit and drizzle with honey-cinnamon. Yum. We had it as a dessert after lunch.

I'm still feeling a bit off today, the three injections that I got yesterday are giving me unpleasant symptoms. My worry is that I've been ask to go back for another injection this coming Thursday so I'm hoping of all hopes that the pain and heaviness of my arms will go soon, then it's going to be sore again but this time just one arm. I wonder which arm I'm going to submit. I'd like to give my none dominant arm but the nurse injected two yesterday, so depends how I feel and see which arm to give.
It just stopped pouring with rain and this hibiscus got really soaked, they're still beautiful though. And I think they're pretty happy.

I have learned that we can possibly get rabies not only from animal bites (dogs, cats, etc) but also from their scratches. Because these animals clean themselves using their mouth and teeth and tongue. The thing is if they get this type of shot regularly, it should be safe even if we give our hand to one as a teether. Well, my brother's dog had a shot but he thinks that was a year ago or so.
Last Saturday, the dog got excited he jumped on my bare legs and slid down leaving a few marks on my legs. I sprayed rubbing alcohol and the fact that it did sting even if there was no sign of bleeding, we concluded that somehow his nails gone through my skin. So that was that. I had been advised by my sister-in-law who is a doctor to go and get a jab. I had three this morning, two on one arm and one on the other. The clinic is close on weekends. Not very pleasant at all. Oh well...

While we were in the car today, my eleven year old nephew said to his Dad that he is driving us to the beach, he wanted to show off his driving skill to me. So my brother stopped the car on the side of the road and switched seats. My brother directed him to where he can practice with us as his passengers. By the beach, there is this long stretch of paved road which is perfect spot for practicing. So I enjoyed the view. This place is where the river meets the sea. Really nice. And oh the boy had done really good. I was impressed. : )

This only happens occasionally so it's alright, haha. I'd like to say that this is great for tea time, but I had it for breakfast, I know, part of me does not approve of donut as breakfast. And I had it with my favorite tea which is tea for insomniacs, chamomile tea. So it may not sound right because what we want in the morning usually is something to help us wake up not a relaxant. Well, it may not work for others, but it works well with me. : )

I had been experimenting with my drink yesterday. I thought of gjving my pineapple juice a bit of tweaking by adding in green little limes. Chilled pineapple juice is already great but adding in little green limes made it more refreshing and nutritious. I picked that exact young lime on the tree from the backyard, washed and sliced then straight in the glass. Tasted fantastic I'll do it again. ♡♡♡

So today is throwback Thursday, so I'm sharing more photos of the largest fountain in the world. It is named The Palm Fountain. Located in The Pointè, a very nice place to eat, walk around, shopping, etc. The fountain plays every half an hour dancing with upbeat music in English, Arabic, etc. When the fountain is off, watching the changing colors of the railway over the sea to Atlantis is mesmerising. Purple, blue, green, etc. When you're there you just want to soak the beautifulness all in. Very modern place. It's a magnificent experience.

It's a day early for throwback but it doesn't matter I'm doing throwback anyway. This was my delicious dinner at the sea side where the largest fountain in the world is, according to Guinness World Records. Weather was good, good company, good food in a spectacular place. Fish tacos beautifully served.

Got given this delicious blueberry cheesecake while having dinner which is really nice, perfect for dessert. And being a person with sleep problem, I thought shall I have a slice now, or not? Well, when this is layed in front of you, can you avoid it? I couldn't resist the temptations when it comes to dessert, haha, my weakness. I shouldn't get diabetes or I'll get very very sad.

There was one evening when I played around with my shadow. One hand making the art shadow while one taking photographs. It was fun but a bit difficult when you do it by yourself. But hey, I managed to do a few, haha.

I saw this greens on a concrete fence wall where Max the dog and I usually go to. It has just a positive effect on me. It's full of life, pretty and so fresh and it doesn't look like it will stop from sprouting and becoming bushier. I have been talking to myself whether or not it's kind of a moss or something like that because moss usually like to cover rough rocky/concrete fence walls or anything like that particularly when the place is always moist. But of course, it's very unlikely because it just doesn't look like it. Our friend google lens provided me a name for it, actually numerous names but I will just mention what I can remember now, haha, "artillery plant".

This is another of my macro photo and the other one is its full size from the grass-like plant to the tip of the flowers. You can see how they are really small with a long stalk it's why I call it stalky. Maybe for some of you are familiar with this plant. It's actually edible. That long stalk is what we can buy from supermarkets in a bunch and use them to flavor some dishes. Apparently, even these beautiful flowers, we can put them in salads. Cool, right? They are Garlic chives flowers, oh yes, how pretty they are. I am happy of this photo how it turned up so beautifuly.

My macro-photo of common dayflower. Without the knowledge of its name I'll just say a flowering weed. Simple but really beautiful. I've been seeing a lot of tiny flowers lately, or I thought they're weeds but for some they're medicinal. Amazing when we get out there and learn all about these creations, we will know how beneficial they can be or how poisonous they are. There's just so much to learn. All we need is time and interest but of course we have other priorities. Alright, this flower got its name dayflower because its life is short. And apparently, medicinal and edible. It's great seeing these things that I probably used to ignore.:D

We all know how important sleep is, but apparently there are some who think that sleeping is just a waste of their time. And that even experts claim that what counts is the quality of sleep. That's during this phase of sleep that we dream.
Check these words out friends...I read this from a book, and quite a good thing to think about particularly those who drive. And I quote, "If you sleep in a chair you have nothing to lose, but a nap at the wheel is often a permanent snooze", unquote. Yeah, it's true, right? So when sleepy, snooze not at the wheel.
For me I am still longing to replenish my lost sleep and that the symptoms will go...

It has been raining a lot lately in my place and today is yet another wet day. It's why my photos are about drenched flowers. We all know how happy plants and trees are when it rains, right? But this photos of flowers in it, an hour after the rain seemingly looking unhappy , what do you think? I think the purplish ones were almost ruined. Well, flowers come and go like this hibiscus flower only blooms for a day, not sure about the other one, probably just for a day or two. But the plants live longer so basically, all is well and happy for tomorrow hopefully we get fresher flowers and that's what's important.

Have you ever encountered this prickly grass before? I'm guessing we may all have, yeah? Well, it's actually tough to ignore. I was walking through our driveway in my long skirt, then suddenly it felt like someone got hold of my skirt stopping me from walking. And this prickly grass was like holding tight on my skirt. I wonder if I just continued walking, will I lose my skirt or this prickles will be off the stalk and just come with my skirt or it will destroy the fabric of my skirt? Well, nothing bad happened for I was quick to react and pulled my skirt off from them. So that was that. I'll better avoid them next time. Now I know they're there seeking attention.

It's my first time to see this plant in our little garden to have flowers. I didn't even know if it's a flowering plant it's why when I saw it, you know, it feels like finding a treasure, haha. I can't wait for all these flower buds to bloom at the same time. Must be awesome. I'm looking forward to see that happening. It had been raining the whole day though, until now, so hopefully, they will survive the rain.

I have spotted this lovely butterfly sunbathing yesterday when I was with Max. I managed to take a fairly good photo of it despite one hand with a dog, one hand holding my phone focusing on the butterfly not to mention the scorching heat where this butterfly have chosen to sit, of course as I've said earlier it's sunbathing. Anyways, I've searched for this butterfly's name so I can specify it on this post and I started to worry. Because I saw a black with white and purple spots but its name is "blue moon butterfly". Is this an early sign of color blindness? Our friend @Dana had posted blue flowers yesterday and I see them as more purplish than blue, ooh this is not good...I guess I need to start taking eye vitamins.

Today when I was walking my brother's dog around, I saw this hungry grasshopper on a leaf of the hibiscus plant. I thought I took a really nice photo of it, the green surroundings, the red flower and a bit of Max in one photo. That was the morning walk. Then this afternoon when Max and I were having another walk, I noticed that the grasshopper hasn't finished eating yet. This time it's eating the flower and mind you it's too busy that I managed to come this close to it. Well, someone is really hungry, obviously. I'd rather leave it alone before it jumps on my face and eat me next, haha.

These are my fruits of the day yesterday. I had been doing this fruit art with an orange and a kiwifruit and I'm glad that I can keep this art in my phone gallery because this art had disappeared, gone into my mouth in a jiffy. My sister had a bit of this sweet and juicy orange but she can't take the tartness of the kiwifruit. So I consumed all the kiwi slices with gusto. The orange I noticed it's almost the color of a blood orange. So cool. All so refreshing and healthy.

I noticed this tiny weed flowers where the dog and I usually go. They are so little around 1/8th of an inch or less but despite the size I think they're noticeable because they are white and they look like hair ornaments for a bride or bridesmaids. Meaning they're attractive. Don't you agree? Yeah, I guess I will see more beauties there if I just look closely...Rest assured I'll be sharing them with you if I find something else. : )

For those who are watching their weight and waistline, let me just share a practical solution from what I just read. "The best exercise is to exercise discretion at the dinner table." How practical is that, I was laughing but it is the fact, right? So yeah, I hope that is easy. Actually, check this new diet out..."a new diet that will reduce weight like nothing else is called the high price of food", hahaha. Not sure if this will work though because with food, we always have money for it, agree? We just have to...or we're gonna go "hangry". : D

This is a throwback taken last December. A huge aquarium where I walked through with my sister and bro-in-law going to The View at The Palm. I mean people walk through this aquarium so it's tough taking a photo with nobody's backs, looked like I've been spotted taking a photo. Oh well, come on it must be allowed, right?
