·       The Pyramid of Zoser

The oldest known Egyptian pyramid is located in Saqqara, northwest of Memphis, a listed pyramid built from 2611 BCE to 2630 BC during the reign of the Third Dynasty, designed by the architect Imhotep, and is considered one of the oldest large structures in the world.

·       Red Pyramid

The Red Pyramid, the third largest pyramid located in Dahshur, 40 kilometers south of Cairo, was named the Red Pyramid relative to the reddish color of limestone blocks used to build the pyramid from the inside, and its original name was the Bright Pyramid.

The pyramid dates back to 2582 B.C., built by Pharaoh Sanfro, the founder of the Fourth Dynasty, the first successful attempt at a soft-sided pyramid that was the tallest building in the world at the time of its construction.

·       Oblique Pyramid

Or a pyramid built around 2600 in Dashur by pharaoh Sanfro also, called the Oblique because of the change in the angle of his inclinations from 54 degrees to about 43 degrees halfway to its peak.

Its original height was about 105 metres, and unlike most of the pyramids, the outer limestone casing made for the pyramid remains largely intact, making it one of the best preserved pyramids.

·       The Pyramid of Khufu

Pharaoh Khufu first began the project in the Pyramids of Giza around 2550 BC, the great pyramid of Giza and rising about 481 feet (147 meters) above the plateau.

About 2.3 million pieces of stone were cut and the average size of each was about 2.5 tons, transported and assembled to build the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the ancient Greek historian Herodotus wrote that it took 20 years to build and required workers of up to 10,000. 0 men, but archaeological evidence later indicated that the workforce may actually be around 20,000, and there are legends that the pyramids were built by slaves or foreigners who were forced to work, but the skeletons excavated in The area shows that genuine Egyptian agricultural workers were working in the pyramids during the period when the Nile river flooded much of the nearby land.

·       Pyramid of Khaffar

Pharaoh Khaffar ibn Khufu built the Second Pyramid in Giza around 2520 BC, and his tombs also included a mysterious limestone sphinx believed to guard the entire tomb complex of the pharaoh.

·       A pyramid of Minqaraa

The third pyramid of Giza, much smaller than the first two pyramids, was built by pharaoh Menqar around 2490 BC and houses the funeral temple, which was very complex.

·       End of the Pyramids

The construction of the pyramids continued during the fifth and sixth dynasties, but the overall quality and size of their construction declined during this period with the decline in the power and wealth of the kings themselves. Perhaps the most notable is the Pyramid of Onas, the last king of the Fifth Dynasty, which ruled during the period 2375-2345 BC.

It should be noted that there are about 100 pyramids in Egypt, but the above mentioned are the most famous.

·       People “Aad” and the pyramids

A recent intellectual current adopted by many people, saying that the Pharaohs are not builders of any of the pyramids, but stole them from a people who returned. The owners of this current are based on intellectual evidence, such as that it is impossible for pharaohs to move large stones hundreds of kilometers and raise them at high altitudes, the size of their bodies was like our bodies or a little larger.

They are based on Qur'anic verses to prove their ideas, such as that Ad civilization is the greatest civilization in the world, not the civilization of the Pharaohs.

And they say that the reason the Sphinx is flooded with sand is the wind that has blown over a people “Aad” as punishment for them and that decimated them and kept their homes.

People “Aad” were building huge monuments on every ridge of the earth to brag in front of other peoples.

Many other ideas they claim, but this remains a theory and has no historical or archaeological evidence yet.

Egypt is so magical and its monuments for far past in present days are so amazing with rich historical value. This is first article about pyramids here. I'm sorry if I'm wrong. You write very good. Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Luxor, Valley of the Sphinx and these statues are treasure mankind need to protect and it is miracle they stand to these days most preserved and untouched, except of gold inside the chambers of many crypts. You have my support.
