Calmness is power

Everyday we come across with different scenarios that would bring us all sorts of emotion. Oftentimes, our day is decided based on the events happening.

Sometimes we're extremely happy and our day is complete when we receive compliments, gifts or some good news. On the other hand, our day will get ruined because a co-worker annoyingly tell us to do the things we don't like hence setting us into a bad mood which we could carry on for the rest of the day.

Are you also one of these people who easily get on top of their emotion?

Oftentimes, we get to say unpleasant words out of our anger and frustration. This instances could lead us to longer term conflicts and issues. This situation happened because we get too emotional that we don't rationalize our thoughts before saying it. Hence, it is such a power to control ourselves when we are overwhelmed with frustration or anger. It could save us literally and figuratively.

Self-control is strength.

Right thought is mastery.

Calmess is power."

-James Allen

Indeed, it is a great power to get ahold of our own reactions and feelings towards a particular event. It is not the event that ruin ourselves but the reaction to these events. Staying calm through a tensed and triggering situation is much more powerful since we can analyze the situation carefully resulting to a better and reasonable outcome.

When a particular situation happen to not be on our favor, we cannot always control it but we surely can control out reaction towards it and makes a lot of difference!
