Who says that beauty is something superficial? Nothing of that! The reality is that there is no true beauty without a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, enough sleep, and moderate exercise.

When it comes to nutrition, there are foods in particular that, among other things, make nails grow healthy and strong, provide lustrous hair, and help maintain a clean and fresh complexion. Read on and I'll show you some of the "miracles" that certain foods can do for appearance.

Hair:

Gray hair is mainly a hereditary issue, but sometimes it is due to a deficiency of vitamin D. Foods rich in this vitamin, such as salmon, sardines, liver or milk enriched with it slow the graying process . Fish oil, on the other hand, removes dandruff and improves very fine, flyaway hair.

The skin:

Delay the appearance of the dreaded wrinkles by including sweet potatoes (sweet potatoes or sweet potatoes), wheat germ, tofu, liver, sardines, walnuts and brewer's yeast in your diet. Also keep in mind that many skin blemishes are due in part to air pollution and ingestion of toxins. To detox, eat foods rich in vitamin C. Include in your breakfast, for example, fruits such as orange and grapefruit or grapefruit (or their juice). Have a cup of iced tea with a twisted lemon peel, add some fresh strawberries or strawberries to your cereal, and enrich your sandwiches with a serving of crunchy bean sprouts. Foods rich in zinc, such as oysters, liver, eggs, and walnuts, also help maintain healthy skin.

Dark circles:

If they are hereditary, it is difficult for them to disappear completely. But to make them less noticeable, eat foods rich in magnesium like shellfish, beans, nuts, and whole grains in general.

Mouth:

Are your lips cracking? Well, the remedy is to add dried apricots or apricots, molasses, green leafy vegetables and other foods rich in iron to your diet.

Nails:

Those white spots that sometimes appear on them disappear thanks to the zinc contained in foods such as nuts and seeds. Sprinkle sunflower seeds over salads, add chopped nuts to chicken stir-fry with vegetables, top grilled fish with ground almonds, or make butter or peanut butter sandwiches. With this diet, both your nails and your hair will become healthy and resistant due to vitamin E and the vitamin B complex.

The bones:

They form the structure of the body and are the basis for an upright, airy posture and graceful movements. It is never too early to start strengthening them and making them resistant. To achieve this, eat foods high in calcium, such as milk, canned salmon packed with the bones, yogurt, raw broccoli, spinach, lima beans, limes, egg yolks, and simmered bone soups.

Inflamed tissues:

Fluid retention is a frequent cause of this problem, which can increase body weight by several kilos and make the figure appear thicker than necessary (not to mention other conditions that have nothing to do with beauty). To eliminate the liquid, consume natural diuretics, such as grapes, cantaloupe and water melons (watermelon), cucumbers, celery ... Avoid very salty foods and drink at least 6 glasses of water a day (better 8). Reducing water consumption is counterproductive, since the body tends to retain a greater amount of what is accumulated in the tissues to prevent them from drying out.

Varicose veins:

One of the ways to avoid them is to eat foods with a high fiber content, such as apples, prunes, figs, dates, whole grains and breads, oatmeal and corn flour, unpolished rice and barley, among others.

A healthy lifestyle, together with an adequate diet, benefits her from head to toe!
