Everyday, we are faced with choices, based on the situations we are in. Choices change lives. Choices can make or break us. Choices can be as clear as black and white, or it can be as gray and brown as the murky water.
When something does not go as planned, we can choose to throw a fit and sulk, or we can choose to go with the flow and adapt to a new plan. If we are in the midst of cooking and the gas suddenly finished, we can choose to cry pitifully sad (cps) or we can just keep everything in the fridge and go out for a happy meal instead.
We can choose to say that we are bored or we can choose to find things to do. We can choose to whine and complain that we did not get something that we expected or we can choose to find other avenues to find that something or to see a glass half full instead of half empty.
When we are angry at someone or something or a situation, we can chose to be angry and upset or we can choose to stay chill, laughing out loud about it and smile.
It is without a doubt that sometimes, we owe it to ourselves to be angry and upset and to complain once a while. But we need to learn to quickly snap out of it.
It is tiring to be upset, to be angry and it is detrimental to our health too when we move towards negativity. Why not choose to be happy?
