Entry level and mid range devices are getting better, so there’s no reason not to save. Often the difference between the most expensive and all other models comes down mainly to better cameras, or things like a bigger screen and a better quality case.
However, the following question arises: Can the average user notice all these finesse? Mostly not.
Most people use the phone for everyday, "ordinary" things, and they don't need a specific function that only flagship models have.
