In the process of recovering from Covid, my home still have a nemesis... Construction dust! Staying really high up in a high dense building and yet the dust kept coming in. I really do not know how on earth the construction dusts can still fly up so high, but this 24/7 construction is really not helping. Those dust can be as fine as (grey coloured) flour / cotton! My own strategy: that I just looked back... When BCH was growing into all time high (ATH) at around $500 USD per BCH, I sold a tiny bit of BCH (and other cryptos) into approximately 7.263 $CAKE at around $6 USD per $CAKE at the time... 176 days later, I now have 17 $CAKE (at around $17 USD per $CAKE) to keep farming good projects' token to either turn it into LP (Liquidity Provider) with $BNB to earn more $CAKE along the way, or to sell it off back to $CAKE / $BNB This isโ€ฆ

I am happy with my completed Fire Quest, where Qid Yuff Summoner was mostly used since shield piercing abilities are very useful when battling with Life Team (that usually have shields) I am kind of intrigued with the new card won, Harvester, but I don't think I will be using it soon because its ability can only shine on level 4 onwards; which means if my Summoners are not that level it isn't really useful than the Nectar Queen, although it is relatively cheap to power up.โ€ฆ

Small recycle pot, but most fruitful. This tiny little fella almost died from the past mealy bugs attack, but after trimming off everything that was infectious, sprayed with water base anti bug aerosol, prayed over (yes! I did that speaking life to it), and spray water everyday with fish meal fertilizer (and no more pesticide control once flowering started) , it has thanked our nurture with 4 chilies in the producing. Just settled part of my July expenses where I was hit the hardest and I still have $221.81 USD (not counting August yet) to go just to break even (with no more savings in fiat) settling my daily expenses, medical expenses debt and mortgage. I am not sure why I got twice.. I think somewhere along the line I missed out one complete quest; but THIS "Nightmare" is going to be an interesting card to test on when there is a chance. Just got to know my friend's connect group member: Richard and Anne Chong. They are both Covid positive. Anne is a cancer survivor and also at the same time diabetic, just broke her 3 toes recently and now struck with covid out of no where. I feel like I am living in a war zone in my residential area today. Just this morning already heard the 3rd Ambulance siren. Even police warning horns were heard. My neighbour Sonia told me even at 1am when she sent Ann there, the ER hospital beds are now overflowed outside. Just thank God that Ann was diagnosed in need of help. She is finally stabilising with Oxygen aid. In another 1 to 2 nights more in monitoring if her oxygen level is above 96% she can resume quarantineโ€ฆ

Here it is! My investigation on whether is it worth to just mine SPS and stake it, or to change it to DEC for other purposes such as card / potion purchases. I must say that looking at this rate for Splinterlands, each token has its usefulness; but to get $DEC, using the Hive blockchain directly is still a thriftier way, though it is still expensive because $HIVE value is weak at the moment. My brave step forward from Q4 of 2019 after SteemFest 4 (the last fest we all ever had before Steem drama meltdown), a good few months of daily battles, investing on the decks finally got me paid off for almost 1 SPS a day, and I will just keep Staking and Staking until the new phase of Splinterlands launched. When you do crazy shopping sale because you know that your household need it.... Just as I have mentioned from my last post why I needed to get another dedicated air filter for my parents room. This first filter was cleaned 1.5 months ago, and today after installing the second one I decided to open up to vacuum the filter. Just a short 1.5 months it is already this bad with the highway construction now rushing almost 24/7. I guess the rank battling isn't going to be running at least until another 12 hours time. The updates on splinting rentals to another server it doesn't seemed to be in an agreement speed as it is running blocks. For those who understands blockchain, nodes need to download their blocks to sync with the whole network in total. Today, 2 more person in my community and friends lost to Covid and return Home. #MidAutumnFestival preparation has started, in this #Merdeka, #Malaysia 's independence day (started from Malaya before Sabah and Sarawak joined in), when mom had the mood to quickly get some "mini mooncakes" (complex cookie making haha), got to quickly help before her back starts aching again. This cookie actually requires 1 week of "seasoning" when the "oil" starts to moisture the cookie and makes it soft and very fragrant; that is why no one actually eat freshly bakedโ€ฆ

Testing Arweave Permanent Storage for the First Time Ah... Cloud storage.. These days from my office experience, physical Storages doesn't seemed to hold long as they can get corrupted, if files are burned into a CDs it might get scratched; and with cloud services though it is relatively cheap, but with centralised control you will never know if your file will be wiped out in an instant should the company bails out, not to mention paid services are charged from daily toโ€ฆ
