What No One Has Told You About

There are moments in your life when you are too anxious about what anyone will think about you. Sometimes, you let opportunities pass you by, thinking you’re not good enough. Unfortunate events led you to be like that: crushed your soul, wounded your ego, shattered you self-esteem, and overall just destroyed you as a person. And as a result, you always feel anxious about what other people may think.

Here’s the thing that no one told you about: no one really cares. No one cares if you brushed your hair today. No one cares if your shirt is crumpled when you yanked it out from your closet. No one cares if your teeth are crooked, if your eyebrows are uneven, and etc.

They just don’t care in general.

They might give you a fleeting look, but who cares anyway? At the end of the day, we’re all caught up with our own insecurities, problems, and other things that keep us occupied. You are the main character of your life but that doesn't mean that the world will revolve around you. Keep in my mind that we are just a tiny speck in this universe and billions of lives exist among us.

So go and live your life however you want as long as you are not dragging other people down. You want to wear that blue mascara? I’m sure you will rock it! Wear that satin backless top in public? Do it! You want to spend your time alone in a mall, watch movies on your own and dine alone? Try it! Do not let what other people may think stop you from living your life. Life begins when you step out of your comfort zone and test the boundaries. Where's the fun in existing if you only choose to be mundane, mediocre, and follows a system as if you were programmed the day you were born.

Remember that only you has the power to change your outlook so live your life without a leash and that’s when you’ll see that only your opinion about yourself matters.
