It's another topic that I wanted to share. Do you know Judas Iscariot? The traitor who sold Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of Silver?

Do you believe that he's a traitor? That he likes what he did? But why did he commit suicide after accepting the silver?

Let me tell you this story. I will not claim if it's true or not. Just read this information from the internet. It's up to you if you will believe it or not...

Are you ready? Let's begin...

THE LOST GOSPEL OF JUDAS

Judas Iscariot is known to the world to be a traitor disciple of Jesus Christ. And his Gospel Of Judas was removed from the Bible.

And here's the question, What is written inside the Gospel of Judas? That they didn't like the public to read and know what teaching is written inside of his Gospel? Are you not curious? Me, I'am very curious and eager to know what's written inside. If given a chance, I will surely read it!

The gospel of Judas was lost almost 1700 years! Wow, imagine how long is that? And this manuscript was found in the 4th Century A.D or after the Death of Christ. At the Dessert near El Minya, Egypt. And it said that it was circulated by the antique traders from Egypt to Europe until it reached the United States of America.

And now, let's go read the Bible. Particularly in the New Testament in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The only four Gospels that were accepted for the New Testament.

Just recently, The National Geographic Society revealed. A Gospel of Judas Iscariot. Christian believers knew him as a traitor friend of Jesus Christ in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. And he is also considered and we'll be known as the Anti-Christ.

There's a big difference between Judas in this Gospel. It's too far away from the traitor Judas that we've known.

It is written in Judas' Gospel that he and Jesus are close to each other. He is Jesus' closest friend among the disciples. The question is... What happened? Why Judas was accused of being a traitor? A bad person!

Let's read what's written in the Kiss of Judas or Betrayal of Judas from the New testament. It was written in Mark 14:44 saying...

"Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying "The one I will kiss is the man, arrest him and lead him away under guard."

During this time, the Roman soldiers is looking for Jesus and Judas became their accomplices. They agree that whoever Judas will kiss, It means that he is Jesus that they've been looking for. And Jesus was arrested by the Roman soldiers.

From then until now, Judas was considered the worst of the worst! A traitor and a bad person. And is accused of being Anti-Christ too. But in Lost Gospel of Judas, The Story is different!

From the beginning of the Lost Gospel of Judas. It was written, that Jesus and Judas had a Secret Conversation. Three days before they celebrate the Passover.

For those who don't know about Passover. It is a kind of ritual, remembering how they are saved by God from being a slave to Egyptians. It is also included here where the Angel of Death walked in front of their house.

And now, let's go back to what is written in the Gospel of Judas. He is portrayed as the closest friend of Jesus. And is believed that only Judas knows the true meaning and true message of Christ among the 12 disciples of Jesus.

Now, What do you think Judas and Jesus are talking about in their secret conversation? What Jesus said was written from the Gospel of Judas.

Jesus said, " Truly (I) say to you, Judas... You will exceed all of them. For you will sacrifice the man that clothes me. (Sections 55 to 56).

The interpretation of this message is that Jesus wanted to be given up by a friend than captured by his enemy. And that close friend of him is none other than Judas Iscariot! That Jesus requested personally Judas to give up or surrender him to the Roman soldiers. For him to ascend from heaven and complete the Prophecy.

From what everyone knew, Judas is a traitor and a bad person. But to Jesus, this is the biggest sacrifice of Judas for fulfilling his request. Gave him up to the Roman soldiers and endured the pain of being marked as a traitor. Plus the fact that they are a close friend. Jesus knew that it was hard for Judas but he's thankful that he agreed to his request.

As we all know, Judas committed suicide after what happened. He is guilty and his conscience is eating him up for accepting Jesus' request. To surrender to his close friend is not easy. The 30 pieces of silver could not ease the guilt and pain that he felt.

The Gospel of Judas consists of 26 pages. And the Author is still anonymous. But this is restored and conserved in one of the books of Herbert Krosney which is called the Lost Gospel. And it is currently located at the Coptic Museum in Cairo, Egypt. And it's available for public viewing.

We all have different beliefs. But what do you think? Is the Lost Gospel of Judas telling the truth? Or did just a random person write it for publicity?

In my personal opinion. There are many questions but let me share only one.

If Judas didn't care about his friendship with Jesus. Why did he commit suicide instead of enjoying the silver that he got?

If he is truly not a traitor. I pity him because people wrongly accused him. And until now he is branded as a traitor and Anti-Christ.

But who knows if it's true or not? Just a pity if this is the truth...

What do you think?

The problem is that this document was written centuries AFTER Judas died. In fact this was written AFTER the Bible canon was completed. All the gospels were written by the writer bearing the name of the book. As such this Gospel of Judas is NOT a gospel and thus not worthy of Bible canon.

I don't know. Nobody knows...

People do know though. The Gospel of Judas was not written by Judas. How could it be when he's exploded all over the rocks? The earliest copies of this Gospel date 200 years AFTER the Bible was completed in 98CE so it cannot be used in any relation to the Bible.

I've heard about some stories about the gospels being lost and not included in the bible but this story gave me special knowledge about the book of Judas with a story that really surprised me. I also had time to think is it true that Jesus said that to Judas, I don't know and I'm confused, whether I want to be Thomas when because of his words "before I see him I won't believe" I'm confused friend.

Yeah but don't be confused. We don't know what really happened in the past.

I know a little bit about the Bible though from another religion but it's new to me. The truth should be known and spread. Every Christian should know these.
