COCKTAIL PARTY
Nalzen was very bored looking at the people around her.
She is at the cocktail party with her friend Nica.
Still, they are looking for a prospective husband. But all the faces bored her.
They are all the same men. Which is full of lust and pleasure.
There's nothing new about it. Her beauty will always make all men fall and bow down.
She was surprised when a sudden girl's voice speak at her back.
"Look who's here, It's the famous Nalzen Villarreal. But oops, Is she still famous?" Then laugh loudly while pretending to talk to her friends.
She knew that voice. Her only number one enemy for a lifetime.
Carol Benitez...
Nalzen raise her eyebrow and face Carol with confident. Sipping her red wine and stand proudly.
"Oh, It's Carol the 2nd choice Girl. How are you? Hopefully you're the first choice now." Nalzen answered giving her a deadly smirk.
Carol was very angry upon hearing this 2nd choice thing.
She is always a second choice in everything. During their College days, Nalzen will always be the first choice. From the cheerleader position and to all of their school programs and activities.
She will always be the second choice. A replacement especially if Nalzen is sick. She is like a dog, waiting next in line.
She will always behind her. She will never be in the front. Even her boyfriend is very crazy in love with Nalzen.
And she is very tired in this Society. For being a second choice.
But she will never give Nalzen a chance to mock her again.
"I'm fine, very fine and I think I will be the first choice soon. What about you, How's the life of being a poor?" She asked pretending to be concern.
Nalzen keep herself calm as much as possible. She will not let Carol win.
"When did I become poor? And oh! You better watch your boyfriend." Then she hug her wearing a fake smile and whisper into Carol's ear.
" Your boyfriend is always texting me and begging me to be with him." She said smiling sweetly.
Carol is about to explode because of anger but if she will give in, she will lose.
"You are just mistaken Nalzen or let us say, assuming. Jed will never text you."
But Nalzen just rolled her eyes on Carol and decided to leave.
This argument is none sense.
"Whatever! gotta go Miss 2nd choice." Then she poured her red wine on Carol's beautiful long gown.
"Oh, Sorry! Just text me your bank account number and I will pay for your dress." Then she walked as if nothing happens.
Bitch! Is all Carol can say.
On the way out, she meet Nica.
" Where are you going?"Nica ask.
"Let's go home. This place is like hell and very boring." She answered while dragging Nica out of the gate.
Inside her car...
Nalzen told Nica what happened between her and Carol.
"I'm sorry Nalzen. I wanted to help but it ends up to disaster." Nica apologize sadly.
Nalzen just laugh at her.
"It's not your fault, cheer up."
"But I felt guilty. I never thought that Carol will be there."
"It's okay. She will always be the second choice. If you could see her face that turns sour while hearing those words." And Nalzen laugh.
Suddenly Nica's phone, ring. It's her cousin Laila.
"Yes, Laila what can I do for you?" Nica ask.
"Cousin, you must come in here and enjoy the pleasant view."
"View, Are you at the province?"
" No, I'am at the Bird's Eye."
"Is that a place? Sounds weird."
" You'll better come or else you will regret."Laila said excitedly. And Nica just wondering why she's acting like that.
"I'm with Nalzen, And we are busy maybe next time Laila." Nica turns down the invitation. This is not the right time to play and enjoy.
"Tsk, you will never have a boyfriend Nica if you are always like this. You wouldn't go out in your shell. But, whatever!" Then the call ended.
Laila always encourage her cousin Nica to mingle with others, meet some men and maybe she could have a boyfriend but there is nothing she can do. Her cousin was born in an old fashioned way.
" Who is that?" Nalzen ask.
"It's Laila and she sounds very happy inviting me to a certain place called the Bird's Eye."
Upon hearing the name of the place. Nalzen get curious and wanted to go there.
"Text your cousin and ask the address. Let's go in there."Nalzen said happily.
"Are you serious? You know Laila have a strange taste. The nice place for her is the opposite of reality."She knows that her cousin likes adventure and went to different places that only God knows where.
" Then that's more exciting, I'm very bored Nica. Let's go to your cousin and add some spice to our sour life." The name excites Nalzen. And she is sure that it's more fun in that place than the boring cocktail party.
BIRD'S EYE CLUB
Nalzen was very surprised that the Bird's Eye Laila was talking is a Club! Well, she thought it's a famous restaurant lol.
A very elegant and huge club. Very big space of a dance floor with a DJ.
People are wasted. They are all drunk but still jumping and dancing with the beat. Mostly of them are came from a rich and prominent family.
They are having fun out of their life. As if there's no tomorrow.
And this is what Nalzen miss. A carefree life which she is deprive for now.
That's why she needs a husband to control her whole trust fund. Half of it, is not enough for her.
And of course to take over their company. She never trust her Uncle.
Nalzen notice that there is not even one single female employee.
All is male. Young and handsome. Half naked serving the people.
And she can finally see that most of the customer is women. There are old and young.
So, it's a club that is exclusive for women I guess.
And there's a poor Nica. Who is very uncomfortable right now. She is not use with this kind of place.
She is right about her cousin's taste will always be the opposite of good.
Nica will always be with her at the party, disco and club.
But this place is very different. Men are all handsome showing off their 6 pack abs.
It's like a vitamins in your eyes.
She is enjoying the view. Not boring at all.
And Nica is enjoying the view of the floor. Her eyes are glued in there. She never dare to raise her head.
Nalzen understand her as she didn't experience having a boyfriend at all. She is very pure and innocent.
Well, I'm still innocent too but wild hehe.
"Nica, the floor will not talk to you. So chin up and let's walk faster. You will never see the way if you are only looking on the floor."
But Nica wouldn't dare. It's very awkward to see those men wearing a thin pants half naked.
"Nalzen I'm okay just hold my hand and lead the way."
"Okay, come let's go."There's nothing she can do. She needs to understand Nica and her belief for being a conservative innocent lady.
Finally they found the room 218 where Laila and her friends paid for a night.
"You two are here, I can't believe this! come inside." She happily welcome her and Nica.
Laila is a very cheerful girl. And she like her very much.
The room is very big. Modern design with a center stage and disco ball.
"It's a good timing for the two of you. The live show didn't start yet." Upon hearing this Nalzen became more excited.
What kind of live show that I may witness in here?
Whatever it is. I'am excited...
But Nica is as pale as hell. She didn't like the words live show.
"Friend just relax okay? I'm here don't worry it's just some kind of a show. And you know maybe I will finally find a perfect husband for me." She said whispering.
"Okay Nalzen, hopefully this place can help you." Nica answered a little bit nervous. But she is trying to calm herself. It's for her friend and she will always be there to give her full support.
Aaron Montgomery
His plane just recently landed when his best friend called him asking for help.
It's been awhile when he visited Philippines and now he is here.
His best friend Arthur recently opened up an exclusive Club for women called the Bird's Eye.
And he was very surprised when Arthur beg him to be the replacement of his absent strip dancer employee.
Aaron wanted to laugh and at the same time shout in anger.
"Are you really serious?" He ask dumbfounded.
"Yes Brother, very serious. Please..."Arthur with his crying face expression.
"My plane just landed. I'm supposed to rest and relax and now you will tell me to Dance naked! Are you insane?"He ask unbelievably.
But Arthur won't give him peace unless he will said yes.
Damn this man.
"You got it all, I could never think of any other man to do this. You are very perfect!" Arthur praise him.
"Now you sound more hilarious." Aaron give up. He will never win against Arthur.
"I'am not! I cannot hire just anybody. You know that this club of mine has a very high standard in choosing my employees. And look at you! A greek God which posses a handsome and promising face, a tempting 8 pack abs and a big, down you know." Arthur said smiling sheepishly.
"Stop it, Stop flattering me. You already win" Aaron answered laughing.
But can he really do this strip dancing thingy?
