Yesterday, the airing date was announced for the most awaited Romance-Comedy( RomCom) manga which is written and illustrated by HERO and serialize back in February 2007. The airing date is on Jan 9, 2021 (JST) on Tokyo MX and other channel and digital platforms with the production of CloverWorks, which is well known for their romance genre anime adaptation. The adaptation was firstly announced back on September 17, 2020 which will be directed by Masashi Ishihama with Takao Yoshioka handling series composition, Haruko Iizuka designing the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama composing the series music.
Description about the Story:
"People say that the youthful days are always bittersweet, but maybe it's just bitter? Kyouko Hori is a flashy high school girl, who, despite her ostentatious appearance, excels in academics and has a family-loving character. Izumi Miyamura is a bland high school boy, who, despite not wanting to stand out in class, secretly wears piercings outside of school and has a large body tattoo. One day, Miyamura finds Hori's little brother injured and helps him back to Hori's house, where the relationship between Hori and Miyamura begins with Hori's discovery of Miyamura's secret" (MyAnimeList).

Though it is too short to satisfy the fandom of Horimiya, the animation is not that good for those who is into a action genre anime watcher but it is good to show the cuteness of the characters. I think the animation was made to be a advertisement for the manga. The Ova is the first that I watch then continue in the manga because once you watch you will definitely craved for more sweetness of the story. The leave you in a cliff-hang, because like I said they made it only for the advertisement of the like the other shows which don't have other seasons.
The Main Characters:
Izumi Miyamura: one of the main protagonist of the story, has a average height and has a slim figure with a pale skin. In school, Miyamura use to be a gloomy and he use heavily dressing to hide his tattoos, always wearing his winter uniforms. He always keeps his his long hair down unto his shoulder and wears a glasses just to hide his piercing. Out of school he wore a more casual dress to be look indifferent appearance that hide his in-school appearance.
He appears to have very low self-esteem and is very awkward when talking to people he's not close with, often saying he can't connect well with others.
Kyouko Hori - One of the protagonist of the story along with Miyamura, Kyouko is considered to be a very beautiful and cute girl with mid-back length chestnut-brown hair that she usually ties up into a bun or ponytail when dressing casually outside of school with bangs swept to the right, golden-brown eyes and a tall, slim figure. She is has a very cheeful and energetic personality which cause her to become famous figure of there school. When at home, she doesn't wear any make up or anything just her normal self to be exact opposite of Miyamura who is at school a wore normal self and outside wear piercing and casual attire.
Overall, I recommend this sweet and cute couple, this manga is must read manga out of all the manga stories I have read. I consider them as my Ideal perfect couple who will fulfill others lacking. Their love story start by discovering each other secrets which they don't wanted to show to the others. Also don't forget to mark your calendar for the upcoming anime adaptation that will lead people to a diabetes cause of the sweetness of both.
