COVID-19 is my ultimate bias when it comes about how it was deadly and destructive especially through these times. Even if we will just stay at home, we were still a victim of this virus since this sickness plague has no age and status exception and we have no other choices but to stay at home.
All of us were being affected and it's not only based on our respiratory health but, it can also reflect on our financial or mental health status since some of us were strictly staying at home. We have no choice but to follow their rules of the government since they just want us to be safe, right?
Did you already try even in just a single day to go outside of your home? How was the feeling or the level of your satisfaction if we will compare the world before and today? Are there having any differences?
Apart from it, face mask is now the new needs of every individual. All people must require having it and the perspective of the community if you were having protective gear would be automatically disobeying the health protocol implemented by the government. How it sad, right?
On the other side of the topic, did we just using face mask for safety or only for frame? Is it really essential for us or not? Are we just using face mask to avoid violation fees or to avoid any forms of embarrassment? So here are the two reasons why we were using mask except for safety and I know that some of you will realized that some of my opinions were right.
The first thing that’s on my list is some face masks were using only for frame and not for safety.
Why did I say that? Let’s give it an instance which is the dolomite project held by the government during pandemic. It was the most anticipated project of the government even though some of us were against at that project, right?
I have a lot of questions that we need to answer. What if ten out of thousands of people were positive at COVID-19? Could they trace if they affected by the virus if the case were crowded or overpopulated? Aside from that, could they precisely ensure what was the name of people that they interact if they catch a cold or fever? Could they exactly know if they were positive or not? Can they make sure that we are following or implementing the social distancing given by the government or we were just wearing mask just to make ourselves safe?
The second and the last one that’s on my list is they were using face masks to avoid embarrassment or to avoid violation fees.
Are you sometimes wondering if why our mother or guardians using face mask when they will go to market or paying bills? Is it for the sake of their health or is it just required on the rules? Why our parent were using face mask and face shield instead of disobeying? Is it because they want to avoid any accusations coming from the police and society or they just want to protect and preserve our health? Personally, I salute my mother because she always immediately keeps off her used clothes at one side and she washes her hands before she take care my siblings which is four years old. I wish you also have a parent like that.
On the contrary, face mask were only non-sense if you will not use it in a safe way and you were just use it due to the rules that you need to follow. If that’s the case, then you should now put it into the bin since you just want to make yourself free from judgment instead of using it for your own health sake, right? Besides, if you were only minor and you were still going outside instead of staying at home even there has existing curfew so what’s the sense of the health protocol that they were implemented?
I made this speech because my true purpose upon writing this is to enlighten or to give you a small idea why this health tool was non-sense in some aspects. This discourse exist a lot of questions because I want you to give a little bit curiosity if why did I say that. Aside from that, face mask were meant to prevent and not to save people from illness. This mask will be safe if you will use it in a good way and not from wrong way. That’s all, thank you.
