Satla-Wazirpur-Barisal

Shapla Gram Satla (Shapla Gram Satla) is like a shuffler kingdom. Thousands of red water lilies floating in the water of the bill seem to beat the red aura of the sun. The distance from Barishal Sadar to Satla village is 60 km. The beels of Satla village in Uzirpur upazila of Barisal are known to the locals as Shuffler beels. Although it is not known when the water lily cultivation started here, it is known that red, white and purple water lilies grow here. However, red water lilies are the most common.

Shuffler is cultivated all over the village of North Satla. Shapla is cultivated in about 10,000 acres of wetland in Shapla village Satla. About 80% of the residents of this village are involved in water lily cultivation and water lily marketing. Shapla flowers are supplied to different parts of the country from Shapla village Satla. Satla is an ideal place for photographers to take pictures of shufflers.

When will you go to Shapla village Satla?

The shuffler season is usually from the beginning of August to October. The shuffler blooms here for these 3 months. During these months of the year, if you visit Shapla village, you will see thousands of water lilies. And if you want to see water lilies, you must go very early in the morning because as soon as the sun sets, the water lilies disappear or the traders take them to sell flowers in the market. So it is best to leave the village one night and go to Shapla Bill in the morning.
