Due to the volatility of the crypto market and prices, a lot of crypto "newbies" are always reluctant to purchase cryptocurrencies with their hard-earned fiat, thus they hunt for faucets (sites or platforms that give out free cryptocoins for completing tasks, offers, answering surveys, watching ads etc). However, it is worthy of note that a good number of these faucets are scams, ripping the user of his/her deserved reward or payment when requested.

This article is my review of free-litecoin.com — a faucet which pays litoshis (little bits of litecoin) every hour — and it includes Results from Online Reviews culled from TrustPilot and FoxyRating websites.

According to an article by Changelly.com, litecoin is one of the major parts of the cryptocurrency industry, and has been active for over 8 years since its hard-fork away from Bitcoin in 2011. Litecoin's price has decreased significantly since it's all-time high of $360.66 in December 2017. However, following its decrease in price (to about $45.43) as at the time of publishing this article, it seems like a perfect time to invest in and "Hodl" litecoins for the long term/run.

Free-litecoin.com: Interface

When it comes to the faucet's interface, I give it a 9/10 score. The interface is very simple and stripped down of irrelevant things. The colour-coding is made to fit how Litecoin looks — white-to-grey colours.

On the homepage you're greeted by the possible litoshi you can win every hour when you click and "roll" a particular range of number. At the top-right hand corner is a hamburger menu which you can click to reveal a handful of options/sub-menus — Referral, Profile, Stats, Withdraw, Deposit, Contact, FAQ etc.

Results from Online Reviews

  1. TrustPilot: The official motto of this review site is "behind every review is an experience that matters", and I believe so too. On TrustPilot, free-litecoin.com holds a 3.6 stars rating (average) out of 50 reviews, with majority of users giving low to medium rating due to the high withdrawal fee.

  1. Foxyrating: This is another top review website which creates rankings of various services by the opinions of its users. On foxyrating.com, free-litecoin.com holds a solid 4 stars rating (22 opinions on 56 comments), with a status of "Promising".

Based on the reviews, users pointed out fast payments, good support team, no maximum withdrawal limit, clean design among others as it's Pros; and as in TrustPilot, some mentioned the high withdrawal fee as a major Con.

In relation to the title of this article (Should You Use It?), in my opinion that question can only be FULLY answered by you. As the minimum amount one can win is very small, it will take a long time to accumulate litoshis of a reasonable quantity. However, because we're very much always with our smartphones and glued to it 24/7 (the hard truth), you can decide to use the faucet passively, earning Litecoin whenever you remember or feel like "rolling". Still, it depends on you.

Visit www.free-litecoin.com/login?referer=1028764 to register (as with read.cash and most web services today, the link given above is my Affiliate link; when you register through it, the faucet rewards me with a some incentive and increases the minimum litoshi you can earn per roll).
