Hello friends! We decided not to buy a pine tree for Christmas. So we bought artificial pine at a special price at Tesco. All Christmas decorations are already sold at half price, it was worth the wait. And maybe that’s really the best idea. If everyone is going to buy a Christmas tree in the future, we don’t have to cut down the trees and we protect nature. The Christmas door decorations in the pictures are old pieces. A golden bell and a small Christmas wreath. For the mistletoe, we are going to our secret place today, which will be hung on the terrace in front of the front door. Hi Judith, this is really the best idea. We have had an artificial tree for 10 years and during that time we have saved a lot of money and worries about cleaning up fallen needles. The planet needs trees outdoor and we don't want them at home.
We have always used an artificial tree. I think is better. First for the ecological reason you mention and second, it is practical: you can keep it in the closet until next Christmas instead of buying one every year.
