Langit-Lupa (Heaven and Earth) Langit Lupa is one of the most popular traditional Filipino games, the name was combined Filipino words, Langit means Heaven and the Lupa means Earth. It can be played by at least three or more players. Is langit-Lupa its ever so morbid song? 🎶🎵Langit, Lupa, impyerno, im-in impyerno, saksak Puso, tulo ang dugo, patay! buhay! Alis! 🎵🎶 It is almost worrying to hear a group of children in the street singing such, but don't be alarmed. The game itself isn't as disturbing as it sounds and can be considered a variation of the game of tag. Any elevated surface can be langit (heaven), where players can clamber onto for safety while the "it" or Taya chases them. Therefore, each player within the ground must run as fast as they can and find a clamber to save themselves from being the next "it". Players can be tagged when they are running on the ground or Lupa. Once tagged, the person replaces the Taya and goes on to chase the others. Before the game started, they need to determined who is going to be the "it", thru picking it a " Jack 'n Poy" a Tagalog version of the paper, scissor, and rock. This game will surely burn lots of body fats since we need a huge amount of energy while running and chasing each other throughout the ground field. Which its really help us to build many valuable and beneficial ways, such as neighborhood relationship, keep our body in good shape, strategical and analytical thinking skills, practice sportsmanship, to earn lifetime friendship from those childhood playmates and the most important thing of all is to enjoy your childhood.

Bati-Cobra Bati-Cobra or Tsato is a classic but popular game among the games in the province. It is a hitting and catching game. This game is played outside just two or more players. To play this game, two bits the bamboo sticks one long and one short is required. The long one fills in as the batter and the short one fills as the ball. Furthermore, a little ground hole is required to make a permanent base. Two players can play the game but more is the funniest. To decide to the main hitter, the player that strikes or tosses the smaller stick farther from the base will be the first to hit. A player acts as a hitter and stand inverse from the other players at a distance. Tossing the smaller stick upward and striking it hard plays the game. The other player from a far distance tries to catch the flying shorter stick. Whoever catches the stick gets ut turns into the next hitter. If nobody catches the shorter stick, the non-hitter may get the stick and strike the more extended stick set around the hitter close to the base. A player turns into the following hitter if the more drawn out stick is struck. However in the event that not, the main hitter keeps playing. Points can be score by measuring the distance from the base up to where the smaller stick landed. The longer stick is used to measure the distance. Every length of the stick is proportionate to the point. A layer that gets 100 points or more is the champ. The specific game might be or not recognizable to you, yet giving them a shot regardless of whether you're not a child any longer wouldn't be so terrible. Filipino Classic Games Back in the day, a child will spend hours and hours playing outside with the other kids under the sun, beneath the dirt and rocks. Due to limited resources of toys for Filipino children, using native materials or instruments. We usually invent games or toys without the need for anything that uses our own imagination and a good dose of teamwork. With the flexibility of real humans to think and act makes the game more interesting and challenging. Sadly, with the advent of the digital age and the surplus toys and gadgets that came with it, a lot of these games are fast becoming extinct. Kids have more exposure to smartphones, tablets, game consoles, and laptops than face to face interaction with their age group. So before the Classic Filipino Games conveniently fall into the abyss of oblivion, how about take a happy walk down memory lane and feel the exhilaration of our traditional childhood not too long ago. Scary Story Hi, I'm Pedro Waelhi from Unknown Street, Baranggay Scary, Coco City. I like going somewhere, This is the story started that I want to share it to you. The most memorable events in my life. Not a fear because after Halloween. It just happened to us last November 02, 2019. Every Halloween my cousin and I went to another barangay because of the fiesta in that barangay. My cousin and I went there on November 02 at night. We used my motorbike to go there for our safety traveling and he has a friend there that waiting for us. So we will go and I ride at the back after that there is a curve way we passed. I wonder why my hair stood on end and I was so nervous. I can't mention the name of the street in that place because I really don't know. As long as he is part of Coco City. So I asked my cousin. Convo: Me: cuz, how do you feel? Cousin: There is something in this place that's why we run slowly so we can be safe. Me: huh? What's up here? Cousin: there have been many accidents here, mostly motorcycles. Just don't let it be known that you are scared. Just calm down. Me: WTF! (But deep inside I'm so scared and my balls also are scared too) We reached the place where the fiesta was and I'm like. Thank God I'm safe. Then we enjoy the fiesta and the friend of my cousin. We play bingo, rides, and a disco party. We enjoy a lot. At 2 am in the morning. I didn't find my cousin. Because I want to tell him that we were going home. So I decided to go home and I will text him that I go home. So his friend drives me home in my motorbike. Then we passed again in the curve lane I feel the same but this time is different. So I asked him. Convo: Me: What happened to this place, bro? Friend: ssshhhh... Keep quiet stay calm. I will run slower so that we will be safe. Me: very nervous. in my mind, I will never go back to this place again, ever! My heartbeat is so fast I feel there is a person in my back. Driver: Just calm down bro he will not touch you nor see him. Me: I think there is a person behind me. Lord help! I didn't even look in the right side mirror and I saw that I already had a while lady behind me. Her face bit blurred with blood she was white with her dress and the scariest part is his face is close to my ear and she whispered. My heartbeat was very bad this time, it was very good to jump on the motorbike but I just did not send fear and I prayed that the Lord would take care of me. I didn't make mistakes and she whispered. White Lady: (sound loud) Pedro, this is the kind of white that I used a whitening soap, just only $1. Me: (speechless) That's why starting that day I used whitening soap for my white shirt.
