Remembering Yolanda... November 9, 2021 How is your Tuesday read friends? My Monday was quite a manic one. The eldest daughter had the stomach flu and it was my fault because I gave her ice cream when she's too hungry. It got upset and made her sick, been vomiting most of the time. Thank goodness she is better now. 8 years ago on November 8, a category 5 typhoon struck the Philippines and devastated the Visayas region. The most affected part was Leyte. More than 10,000 people were dead, some were luckily found, some were still missing. It was an eye-opener to the majority of Filipinos, especially the Warays. But despite that disaster, it showcased the uniquely positive traits of the Filipinos- we do not give up and we do not surrender. We even manage to crack a joke even during calamities. I remember Kuya Walter on how worried he was when his house was destroyed by the typhoon when his family stayed in a hotel but still wasn't safe due to the rising waters. And how he and his brother went home and almost fought for their lives against the looters. And when I saw poor Leyte. Where some persons announced they've lost their family members. When they begged for food, clothes, water, and shelter. It was a total nightmare. And I wished we all learned our lessons. We do not need another super typhoon to distinguish who is worthy of our sacred votes. We do not need another Yolanda to realize that we need true leaders to prioritize our welfare. We have seen enough, grieved enough. Let us remember those people who died because of the incompetency of those who were in power at that time. Let us be reminded that who we'll vote for carries our present and our future- let us not sell our votes. Let us believe that true service is through the works not through the words. Be warned of sweet talks and promises, of fake smiles and handshakes. Think of your children. Set an example of what responsible citizenship is. Consider thinking of the greater good and not what only you could enjoy. We can mold this country to rise and be the best again. We hold the power, we are the government. Let that sink in. And there is no one to blame but us if we do not do the right thing. If we get blinded by the celebrities we encounter during the campaigns. If we see our pictures posted on social media with a candidate and we thought we are already famous. Let us no longer be shallow and ignorant. Remember, remember... Remember Yolanda. Remember Y. Because Y? You are a game-changer. **I wish those who departed during the Typhoon had found peace. And I wish their families have already coped up.** **I will catch up with your articles when my hands are not so tied anymore.** To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏 Please do visit my sponsors' profiles as well. I received a notification about a sponsorshop renewal...It made my day! Thank you my friend, Eliana @CoquiCoin..I am honored to be still on your list.
Who are you? Acrostic version. November 8, 2021 Happy Sunday my dear lodi friends! I hope you spent the day with your family or loved ones. I made a composition today, inspired by you, my friends. I have seen several people doing it so I challenged myself. Why not? Let's do something different this time and I hope you'll like it. So... Who are you? **G**od-given, a blessing from the Lord above. So don't you ever think that your life doesn't matter because your parents do not love or no one loves you because of God. You are not born in this world without any purpose. **L**ike everyone else, you have a spot under the sun, a space in the universe so never underestimate yourself. Claim your birthright and do what matters. Find the purpose of your soul and live with it. **E**nvy won't bring you anywhere like a broken compass. Learn from your mistakes and make a better life out of them. Be inspired by other people's success, listen to the wisdom of your elders and you can never go wrong. **S**ometimes we have to go to rock bottom to discover our inner strength and have a breakthrough. It is okay to be not okay. But being at the bottom means you have no choice but to climb up again or bounce back. You gotta be strong because oftentimes, that is your only option. **S**tay humble and be grounded despite your success in life because it is sometimes intoxicating. Always remember where you came from and never belittle those who are under your authority. Lead with integrity and dignity, follow with enthusiasm. **A**llow criticism and feedback, that's how you grow. People may hurt you intentionally or not, don't take it seriously. Learn the art of tolerance. **M**ost people won't believe your dreams and aspirations. Because either they don't want you to succeed or they just don't believe in what you can do. Prove them wrong. Nothing won't happen to you unless you allow it to. So cheer up, hold your head up high and say with conviction, "I can do this, I believe in myself". **A**cknowledge the people who have been there for you at the lowest point of your life. Be thankful and treasure them. Give back and pay it forward. The world will be so much better if we pull each other up. **Enlightened** being, that is who you are. What you do echoes forever so make sure you send a positive wavelength to the universe. What you do goes back to you. Practice empathy, show love and compassion, be kind and understanding, be respectful. Walk away from battles you know you'd win but makes you feel empty and unworthy. Choose your battles wisely and save your strength and power. You don't have to prove you are right all the time, sometimes slowly walking away to protect your peace is far more worthy than winning a fight. Know your space, value it, and don't let anyone step on it without your permission. You are special, God-like, unique, and the master of your universe. **This is an acrostic version of my real name Glessa Mae and I wish I have imparted something positive to you, my friends. And it's Monday again tomorrow, time to grind!** To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏 Please do visit my sponsors' profiles as well. You will definitely be inspired. These different personalities inspire me! November 7, 2021 G'day mate! Do you have someone whom you look up to or inspire you? I do. Aside from the inspirations I get from my family, close friends, teachers, and friends here in read, I have a list of people from different backgrounds who inspire me on what I wanna do and what I wanna become. Here they are: **Li ZiQi**-She is a 31 years old woman who was raised by her grandparents because her parents were separated. She used to work as a DJ in one of the cities in China but went back to Sichuan...Then she started filming her daily chores. And I have never seen a woman or a person who is as multi-talented and multi-skilled as Li ZiQi. I am not sure if she'd ever want to marry, if she has to, I think it has to be someone like James Bond or Superman. She **cooks**. It is not just ordinary cooking but she also knows how to present her food. She **farms**. You will see her plow their field, water, and harvest the crops. They didn't have to buy their rice, corn, potatoes because she farms them. Actually, everything she cooks especially the vegetables and spices is from their farm or backyard- aside from some meat that they sometimes buy from the market. She **knows Bamboo handicrafts**. She makes a house, furniture, cooking materials, handicrafts from Bamboo. Her grandpa taught her since she was a child. She **sews and makes her clothes**- She planted cotton and cultured silkworms and sewed her own cloak, made a slipper, hat, and a bed cover for her grandma. How lucky Nana is. Also, she makes her own makeup out of roses and other natural ingredients. I strongly suggest you check her YouTube videos and I tell you, you'll get hooked watching her. She actually got a Guinness Book of World Records for being the first female who got 16M followers for a Chinese language on YouTube. **Gordon Ramsay**- This legendary chef inspires me to love the kitchen or cooking in general. He doesn't stop learning despite being one of the best chefs in the world. He discovers different flavors and cooking techniques by exploring around the world. I was so amazed when he was a sport when an auntie from Malaysia beat him in the cooking contest. He is so down to earth, very grounded person. **Rodrigo Duterte**- People might not like him for his tongue like Gordon but you will see him as what he is by his performance. The Philippines never had this many infrastructures built until he came. He made life easier for the ordinary Filipinos. Do you know that he used to drive a taxi when he was still a mayor in Davao and brought a patient to the hospital? He visits children with cancer and cries when a soldier dies. He even kissed the ground for those men who died in Zamboanga or Sulu, the highest form of respect a person can give to either a living or a dead person I was shocked when the people from so-called "top universities" mocked him for doing it. He mandated the Boracay rehabilitation, the Dolomite beach project, the changes in NAIA, etc. This man has a great political will. And I am not here to start a political debate. Let us agree to disagree. **Krizette Chu**-This beautiful woman can launch a ship of relief goods whenever she wants. I have never seen someone as generous as her here in the Philippines. She is willing to give up her collections of luxury items just to help people. She goes beyond that, really. She uses her influence to make life better for those who needed her. She had gadgets and load projects for those deserving students since the pandemic started. She gives monthly top-ups to financially challenged students and right now, her project is giving printers to teachers in any part of the country. When she calls for Bayanihan, people listen to hear. She really is something. **Mama Alawi**- I love her as she is. She married a rich man but she proved to him she can survive with her kids without his aid after their separation. She raised Ivana and her siblings so well. They grew up grounded and generous. It is also evident that they have a good relationship as a family, they have open and honest communication towards each other as well. Plus, Mama Alawi is a good cook. I aspire to cook Biryani rice one day by following her tips. **Andy Eigenmann**- This beautiful celebrity gave up fame and luxury and chose a simple, more private life on an island with her family. She was courageous enough to start from scratch and wasn't ashamed to do things just like an ordinary citizen despite her background. She chose to live with authenticity and loved an amazing guy who has the same passion as her: surfing. Nothing makes someone happier but having a partner who has the same goals and dreams as her. **Mimi Yuh**- This YT influencer inspires me so much because he didn't give up doing what he loves and dreams high for his family. An influencer has to work hard for the content and editing of videos and starting from scratch has never been easy. He didn't get discouraged from having few subscribers in the beginning. Instead, he pushed harder to deliver entertaining content to his audience and it paid off. He is still humble despite his success. Whenever he collaborates with our celebrities and influencers, he remains respectful and funny. And I love him for loving his family. He gave back to his parents by buying their own house. They surely raised a good and loving son. Though we know it is not his responsibility to give them a good life, it makes him happy whenever he sees his family happy. He deserves to be blessed as he is a blessing. How about you, who inspires you aside from your family, friends, or yourself? And how are you being inspired? Share your story and let's talk! To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏 Please visit my sponsors' profiles as well. What I wanna do for myself after getting my second jab! November 6, 2021 It's the first Friday of the week. How are ya doin' mates? Has the weather been kind to you? I wonder what happened to my week lol. It went by with just a blink of an eye. I am excited to get my second jab on the 15th and I just wish there won't be any side effects anymore. The headache and fever were not fun at all. Since I went to the mall last October and got disappointed with KFC, here is my revenge list that I will try to accomplish after my 2nd vaccination: **Go to KFC**- I will show my vaccination card as proof that I am fully vaccinated, order the Supreme bowl and dine in. I don't know but this one's my ultimate favorite in KFC. It is only between $3-$4 dollars so I can afford it. **Have my manicure and pedicure**- My hands and feet, especially feet are already shouting for some TLC. My ingrown is too painful and my feet's dead skins are annoying! I can't wait for their removal. If I could have a foot spa, that would be heaven for me...With the foot massage, of course, I wanna pull the hands of time right now! **Have a decent hairstyle**- Bam and I cut our hair the past 2 years so I think it is just the right time for me to have a good one. I am not sure if Bam is allowed but we'll find it out. I think a haircut or style is less than $2, I can pay for it. Finally, my hair is gonna be cut and trimmed with proper scissors. **Color my hair**- I am pretty sure it's safe even when I am breastfeeding. My black hair looks fine though but I wanna have a new look. I am bored staring at my old self every time in the freaking mirror. I don't even comb my hair anymore. I know my in-laws will object, But I will definitely look for a safe color just to avoid arguments. **Go to the beach**- There is really no beach near us, perhaps a resort. But I will grab the chance with my kids if ever there is an opportunity to travel and have fun. I want them to have a change of environment ASAP! I am not sure where to get the budget though but the Universe will surely provide. **Thread my eyebrows**- Since I will have my manicure and pedicure, I will also give my eyebrows a treat. A shave or thread will do. Eyebrows enhance the face so they should be maintained again. Rusty, you know what to do, I need to be pretty so please be generous. If all else fails, I will buy ice cream and treat everyone. I love celebrating small wins, and I am gonna celebrate my vaccination day. Are you done with your second jab? Did you feel anything or none at all? To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏 Please visit my sponsors' profiles as well. My bucket list of adventures before I die or get too old! November 5, 2021 G'day mate! We all have a list of desires or dreams that we wanna achieve, have or experience before either we grow old or die. I believe we only have one lifetime, though we reincarnate (I believe we do because I did like I think 53 times already) each life is unique and we have to make the most of it. The very first on my adventure on my list is **skydive**. I wanna experience the euphoria of jumping from a plane and just floating in the air. The thought of landing kind of scares me but that's what makes everything exciting. I also would like to **paraglide** in a beautiful mountain in Europe or Canada. I just wanna view the breathtaking scenery while flying freely like a bird. And then I wanna jump in the sky in a **wingsuit**. I think it's scary and cool at the same time. I envied those guys in the movie Pointbreak when they flew together. I wanna **go to Bali, Indonesia** to swim and stay there for a few days or a week. I just don't wanna think of anything else but stare at the horizon while sipping my buko or coconut juice. I wanna swim, eat, sleep and repeat. Where do I go for a **good disco or clubbing experience**? I wanna just dance the night away. I don't need drugs, a good drink will do. I am not gonna go drunk and wasted this time, I just wanna get lost in the music. I wanna ride on a **hot air balloon** either in Clark or in Turkey, wherever as long as it's gonna give me that thrill and adventure I am looking for. I wanna **see Gordon Ramsay, Andrea Bocelli, and Celine Dion** in real life. Eating at Gordon's restaurant would be an incredible bonus but I am gonna be satisfied with just seeing him anywhere. I would be totally ecstatic if I could watch Celine and Andrea's concerts either separately or the two of them together. And then I **wanna ride on a train and tour Europe country by country**, stopping for pictures of every historical landmark and eating at its famous restaurants. And in the Philippines, I **wanna stay for a few nights in the most expensive condo in Baguio**, have fun in Burnham Park or Camp John Hay, zip line again and take a dip in the pool (wow), have my body massage, manicure, and pedicure. These are just the adventures that I wanna do for myself excluding my family. I will have another bucket list with them but for now, let me be selfish. Do you have any bucket lists, my friend? Has anything come true yet? I'd be glad to know! I hope you will have a good night or day wherever you are in the world. And may the stock market or crypto-verse be in your favor. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏** https://read.cash/@jasglaybam/hello-november-what-are-you-up-to-a953fef5#to-my-sponsors-old-and-new-thank-you-very-much-i-owe-you-one **Please visit my sponsors' profiles as well.** **And all your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️** Cheers! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 Everything is mine unless otherwise stated.

My favorite Computer Science subjects in college! November 4, 2021 G'day, mate! We all have favorites on almost anything: from our favorite quote to a favorite color or part of the day, favorite pet, etc. It makes us feel warm, excited, happy, giddy, ecstatic, and any other positive emotions. It pushes us to go for milestones, to become the best version of ourselves. Today am gonna talk about my favorite subjects in my college course: Computer Science. They were difficult subjects but I enjoyed learning them because I had great and supportive instructors. Here they are: **Logic Circuit and Digital Electronics** This is a subject that uses Boolean Algebra which means each result no matter how complex a problem is can either only be true or false or 1 or 0. And the computation can only be confirmed as correct or wrong through the use of logic circuits. If the computation is right, the logic circuit's light is on, otherwise, off. It was so fun solving problems using 2-3 pages of paper, back to back just to come up with an either 1 or 0 as answer lol... It sounds complicated but to make it simple, all computer systems need to go through logic gates to make sure it's correct otherwise it won't be properly implemented and might sabotage the digital system. The logic gates are just like the typical logic we know: and, or, not, nand, nor, exor, and exnor gates. **System Analysis and Design** I didn't fall in love with the subject because of the instructor (but he did try to flirt with me). I just love improving systems because I saw a number of systems that needed enhancement on the campus. My background in investigatory projects in high school helped me a lot in this subject. The steps in SAD are: Determine an existing system What are its lapses, challenges (gather data by interviewing people using the system and the people affected by it) Analyze if there is a need to create a new system or just enhance the existing one Propose changes in the system by using use-case diagrams I know there were more steps but I am just making it simple here. SAD is just the first part of system design and we had this class in my second year. The second part is coding which I had during my fourth year. Knowing my system by heart helped me defend my project successfully during the finals. **HTML** How I love designing a website by coding using a notepad with HTML as a language. I remember the day of class, it made me so excited to know that we will be making our own website. What I did was made a research about the language and did self-study. I was ahead of my classmates. Our instructor was teaching them where to put the text, while my texts were already running because of the marquee. Every day was always an adventure for me, and it made me so happy whenever I see my website successfully run after every coding. The issue is, our projects were saved on the computers in the Internet room. During the finals, one of my classmates failed or almost failed and she or he was so bitter that all our projects were deleted. I was so devastated because I didn't have a copy of it and I might fail because there was no time to create my 4-page website. Good thing my instructor already saw it and he knew what kind of website I had and how I was as a student. I realized I miss designing a website using HTML. Programming nowadays seems to be so complicated, or maybe it's just my perception. **C++** This was my first programming major subject in my first year of college. I remember the black screen where we put our codes. And the first thing to do was to know the syntax of the language. Then we declare a variable on what it is. Not putting the semi-colon after each declaration or command messes up the whole program because the computer thinks that the command is still open. It was so challenging to create the formulas and see whether or not the program was correctly executed. There was a time where our instructor who was resigning, gave us a project. It was about arrays so it was difficult, I was the only one who figured it out but she didn't read my email that contained the solution to our project. I was so pissed off because she all gave us the same grades: 2.5. I mean, what the nerve! I was able to run my program without any mistakes at all! If she has seen my email, I could have gotten 1.0 for the midterm! Anyways, she was replaced with a better instructor. And he was one of the most amazing ones. He made us feel like creating a program is like a play or a game. He made the subject enjoyable. I did get a good grade from him. I do have other favorite subjects but these 4 were my most favorites. I loved Networking, Logic circuits in Digital Electronics, and Data Structures and Algorithm. Computer Science is a difficult course and I am happy and proud that I was a top student despite being a student assistant from 1st to 3rd-year college. If I could only work in the IT industry, it would be a dream come true for me. What were your favorite subjects in college? Did you get a job that is related to your course? Please let me know! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The lead image was from Unsplash.com

Home is where the great food is! November 3, 2021 “To me, food is as much about the moment, the occasion, the location, and the company as it is about the taste.” – ***Heston Blumenthal*** Hello, my read friends. I just saw it on noise that a "kabisdak" was about to sleep when she heard her neighbour calling her because they are going to give her a birthday cake. Her neighbor's daughter just turned 5. It's what I love about living in the province: people are generous, especially with food. It's already in our culture to either share or exchange food. And refusing it is a sign of being disrespectful. I remember when I was a child, our neighbour, my aunt, would give us delicious and special food whenever they can. Some of our neighbours would give us soup or any viand they can cook. We also gave back, especially if my papa cooks the food. And it's what tightened the bond, that homey feeling of the people living in the province unlike big cities such as Manila. During summer, we would go to the beach bringing food like boiled bananas or sweet potatoes, grilled fish or pork, ceviche, soft drinks, and cooked rice. We then gather all the food so everyone could eat, what a boodle fight that was. We'd swim all afternoon until everybody was exhausted. On fiestas or religious feasts, people from different localities would flock for free food and drinks. No invitation was needed because everyone was welcome to eat. When I was 12, I remember a stranger knocking at my aunt's gate. I politely said, "Are you looking for someone else?", he answered, "I'm here for the fiesta". I am not sure if we celebrated it but I'm pretty sure that man didn't leave with an empty stomach. My aunt was kind. Fiesta or not, she always gives food. Oh, and in the province, if someone is invited to a fiesta or a birthday party, they tag people along with them because they are shy to eat alone. Especially if there's a roasted pig, expect to see a lot of unfamiliar visitors. It's the same with weddings, you'll definitely see new faces: guests invited by the official guests. And most visitors have plastic bags with them to "bring home" some food for their families. Nonetheless, it's what makes the celebrations special and unforgettable. I so miss the food in Iligan which are sinugba and kinilaw (grilled food and ceviche), lechon (roasted chicken or pig), barbeque (chicken or pig), law-uy (mixed vegetables with soup), kinason (seashells), bulad (dried and salted fish), and just the freshness of the produce in general. And I do miss the laughter, the chitchat, the enjoyable moments sharing that food with family and friends. This is my entry to the PromptlyJonica writing prompt. Hello November, what are you up to? November 2, 2o21 How are you, dear read friends? First and foremost, thank you to my sponsors (old and new) for still staying with me. And to my 70 subscribers, wow, 70! I never thought I could touch the hearts of 70 amazing souls. I do hope I can entertain all of you as much as I can. Fingers crossed. I am not sure if I have a goal for this month, the thought of having it is actually stressing me out. I feel too pressured. I think I'd rather go for quality first, before quantity. What do you think? Though I like it when Rusty upvotes my articles sequentially. It's just so hard thinking about what topics to write lol. I am in the house most of the time so got not that much story to share. Perhaps I do but I just have to be creative in delivering it to you. I do have a goal: that is to reach $100 for this month. I will save 500 to 1000 for Bam's savings. My purpose is to give it to her as a gift in December and her birthday on March 1. There will be no more toys or gadgets but I will present her the passbook and show the amount I saved for her. Then $10 for Saoirse's diapers, $10 for their vitamins, $10-20 as a share for the water or electricity, and $20-25 for Saoirse's PCV vaccine. I will be very happy if I could reach that amount, it will be the second time after a year. Thanks, sis FarmGirl for reminding me to know my greatness. Just to share this sentiment. My partner and I had a fight again last October 30 because Bam and I went out to buy some goodies. I asked him to give me a few minutes of rest because I was tired from walking but he complain. He didn't tell me what he was really feeling so we had an argument. Because of it, I was able to pour my heart out to his parents that I didn't want us to marry anymore. I want someone to dream and reach those dreams with me, not someone who doesn't know what motivates him. I felt free, to be honest. I sacrificed a lot when we moved in together. I just wanna keep it to myself but I am somehow relieved that I was able to voice out the emotions that I've been hiding for so long. November, I know you will be good to me and my family, let me be ready for you. Don't bring it on, just lovingly give the best for us and I am humbly receptive of all the greatness you will shower us. And I'm gonna have my second jab on the 15th, please no more fever and fatigue. What are your plans for the remaining two months of 2021, my friends? Do you think that we will be Covid free this 2022? Or is it the end of the world, just like what some people are assuming? No need to discuss religion, it might start some debate. Just asking and if you're not comfortable with my question, no dramas mate. Just ignore. I hope you will have a good night or day wherever you are in the world. And may the stock market or cyrptoverse be in your favor. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏** **Please visit my sponsors' profiles as well.** **And all your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️** Stay young and beautiful! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The lead image was from Unsplash and the rest of the contents are mine unless otherwise stated.
Boo! A fun and short trick or treat in the house! November 1, 2021 Most of you might already be asleep while I am typing this story. I am glad to tell you, my friends, that we had an enjoyable Trick or Treat in the house. It was a short as the word "Boo!" but a memorable one because it was the first T or T of my Saoirse and her cousin, Cassie. We started out with 2 contests: The stop dance and give me. Of course, there was a practice on how the games were done. Since Cassie was a bit cranky because she's overwhelmed with what's going on, I decided to shorten the game. Would you believe that the winners have been predetermined? Hehe...I sent the program last night so everyone's updated on what's gonna happen today. Bam was the black cat. I only did an emergency costume because I wasn't able to find costumes for her and Saoirse in the mall. Cassie was a princess melon and Saoirse was Peppa Pig, who refused to wear her tutu lol. So the stop dance started as practice and we decided to do the final one after a minute. The song was "Under the Sea", we are a Disney family so everything has to be Disney especially the songs. The cranky baby was carried by her mom Ren, Bam was dancing alone, and Saoirse was with Jas. Team Saoirse was first eliminated because Saoirse moved, followed by Ren. Bam was declared as a winner with Cadbury chocolate milk as her prize. Then the "Bring Me" game started, I asked for them to bring me a hairbrush and everything went on chaos lol. The competitive mommy Ren started running towards the master's bedroom clueless on where to get the brush. Good thing I placed it just on the table near the couch and pointed it to her. They won a Hello Kitty candy watch. Everyone was having fun! Then we started the Trick or Treat. The main door was knocked first by Saoirse and Dada, their grandad was the first to give the treats to the 3 kids. Then we went to the master's bedroom and Cassie knocked on the door. Mama La gave us another treat. We went upstairs to Ren and Arjay's room where Saoirse did the knocking. The last room was Bam's and Jas gave everyone the treats. We then went downstairs, had spider cookies for snacks. The kids were having fun checking what their treats are, tasting most of them, and eating some. Bam was so happy and ecstatic because she has never eaten a lot of candies for such a long time. And Cassie was so busy getting to know the candies one by one while her parents are eating the treats she just tasted. I had never tried some of the candies in my entire life so tonight Bam and I had a great time putting the pop candy in our mouths. The event was a success, all the time, money, effort spent were worth it! I am satisfied and fulfilled knowing the kids had fun. Hope you had a good Trick or Treat as well, my friends. I'm gonna keep this post short as I lack sleep for days now. Did you just stay in the house or go somewhere else to celebrate? Did something spook you? **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one! 🙏🙏** **Please visit my sponsors' profiles as well.** **And all your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️** Stay young and beautiful! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 All contents are mine unless otherwise stated.

What Gordon Ramsay is for me. October 30, 2021 How are you my read friends? I have been so busy the past few days because I organized a Trick or Treat in the house and everything was my responsibility. I am not complaining because I am the chair of the committee lol. I just wanna share this awesome person whom I look up to. Although I am not an expert in the kitchen, this man inspires me a lot. His name is Gordon Ramsay. Gordon Ramsay was 16 when he ran away from Scotland because of his parents' marital issues and moved to France. He had a very humble beginning and climbed his way up, proved himself as one of the best chefs in the world by being the only chef who garnered 16 Michelin Stars. I know it's no longer 16 at present but he's still the best at his craft. Gordon Ramsey is a legend in the culinary world. He is proof that success can be achieved through determination, hard work, perseverance, and professionalism. When I was pregnant, my partner and I watched a lot of his shows: from Masterchef Australia to Masterchef USA, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Masterchef Junior AU, and the US. I also watched Masterchef Professionals UK. And based on those shows I could say that: 1. Gordon is a humble person-Sure, you see him curse from time to time but he never forgets where he came from. He gives honor to the chefs who trained him and taught him the best practices in the kitchen by giving them credits whenever they were invited to one of his shows. 2. He is a great dad - Her children were grounded and down to Earth because he taught them so. Do you know that his kids are not allowed to eat in his restaurant? They won't even inherit all of his wealth if Gordon dies. He taught them to work for their money but of course, his childrens' basic needs are well provided for. He teaches them to play as normal kids do, make them do silly things and all that stuff. You won't see the sense of entitlement in his kids. He cooks for his family most of the time as well and he treats his kids as his friends. Oh and Tilly is my favorite Ramsay kid. 3. He is a good boss- You gotta work your ass off if he is your boss but you'll be richly rewarded once he sees your dedication. He also treats the waiter and waitresses with respect, it might not be what you'll see on TV whenever you see him shouting at the contestants but I remember a show where an MC contestant called the servers and say "Service", he corrected him by saying " Service please, thank you". If you watch Kitchen Nightmares, you'll see how he defends the servers. In MC USA, he gave one of his head chefs who is based in Philadelphia free house renovation. I believe it was Christina, who won in MC USA. He hired her after she won. 4. He is an inspiration- Whenever someone is ousted in competitions, he always tells them what their strengths are and how they will be able to use them for reaching their dreams. He always gives encouragement and hope to those who are almost running out or lacking faith in themselves. And he pushes the contestants to give their bests and never give up. I admire him for that. And also, whenever he sees potential in a losing competitor, he offers them jobs or training and his fellow chefs also do the same. 5. He is generous- He always makes sure he gives back to the community and his family. One example is he gives free consultation and renovations to restaurants that are on the brink of bankruptcy. He even cooks for them to start them off or calls a chef friend to assist the restaurant. I recommend you watch Kitchen Nightmares and you will know what I am talking about. He even changes people and families. He actually checks the restaurants he has helped to see if they flourished or not. And one thing I love about him is he loves his mother very much. He learned how to cook because of her. And if you see them, you will really feel how much he adores his mom. His wife is so lucky to have him because he is a good son. 6. He is a good person, a good friend- He isn't afraid of confrontations, to tell the painful truth to people, he is honest, and he is an authentic person. He did meet the worst owners of the businesses, had arguments with them but in the end, he wins them over. Some of the owners even consider him a good friend. And Gordon doesn't look at a person's financial status. He became friends with the servers and aspiring chefs he met in the shows. You will sometimes hear him say, "Once you get home, give me a call or shoot me an email, or you have a job in my restaurant in any place that you like anytime" to someone who needs him. I wish more people could be like him. He is really a blueprint changer. I wanna go on but I don't wanna take much of your time, my friends. And I got to finish the decoration and stuff, I am a busy bee this week! So am gonna get back to you when we are done with the Trick or Treat. If you know Gordon Ramsay personally and you want to correct my descriptions about him, feel free to do so. Do you have someone whom you look up to? I'm gonna make some noise for noise- an appreciation post! October 29, 2021 Do you have a noise account? Have you ever participated in its projects and events? I always missed its QR code challenges because I thought it could only be done through the app: silly me. It does pay to ask questions, ignorance is never an excuse. Anyways, a fellow noiser posted his $2 worth of BCH after completing 59 microtasks and I thought, "Wow, what a lucky guy!". And I was surprised to see the notification the other night so I eagerly participated. It was only a survey about my opinion on 59 posts. The options were really bad as the lowest measurement and very interesting, the highest (I forgot if this is it or was it "Excellent")...Correct me if I am wrong...There was a slide between really bad and very interesting to gauge the likeability of a post. When I was done with the microtask, a message says that I will receive the money in a few seconds and I did! I know $2 was a little amount but it's something for me because it was my first noise participation. I felt like winning a jackpot! I'm HODLing it for now along with the rest of my noise money because I have a project. I am going to combine it with my read profit and know what? I have already achieved my target amount of $10! I'm gonna celebrate this small win soon! Or maybe later, whatever. And my BCH in noise is growing too! I now have $5 in my wallet which I never expected to receive because I only post randomly. I really wanted to be more active but I just can't for now. I have more than 300 supportive and friendly subscribers, I wasn't really expecting it to grow that fast and they deserve to read amazing and inspiring posts from me. Just hold on peeps, this momma's gonna think on what to feed your minds :) Maybe a post about the joys and pains of motherhood, our daily menu, or our activities in the house, etc...Oh my, be patient please I feel pressured. Lol. To the owners of the noise platform, thank you so much for giving us the chance to share ourselves with the community and giving us a reward for doing so. This is just going to be a short article for today, I need to prepare and research for the next one :) And my little one's gonna wake up soon and my hands are gonna be tied. I hope you will have an amazing day my friends, it's the weekend again! I wanna chase the time but I know that's impossible. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 **Please visit my sponsors' profiles dear lods.** And all your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ Stay young and beautiful! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The lead image was from Unsplash.

Read.cash humbled me. October 28, 2021 **How are you my lodi read friends?** I can't believe it's almost the weekend and October is almost over. It was just only yesterday that I had this painful experience, time does fly so fast. The world is telling us that there are things we cannot control and we should do our best to those that we can. It made me think "little" of myself, what a humbling reality. A year ago, I joined a blogging platform called Kiki.com before. The payout needed to be at least $75 and the only way to increase the earning was through the "fires" given by fellow kikiers. It was a nice community but there were only a few Filipino writers so I wasn't really happy. And before I went on hiatus to give birth, the website was already on the rocks. I am sad that I lost $24 after a few weeks of hard work. But while I was with Kiki, I discovered read and didn't really take it seriously until Rusty gave me $34 which I discovered a year after I gave birth. It reached $100. And I realized, this platform isn't a joke. It was another humbling experience because we badly needed the money and there it was, waiting for me to claim it. Despite many challenges, I feel blessed that am still in read and my experiences here humbled me in many ways: I do sometimes think highly of myself (though I am not showing it to everyone), but meeting my fellow writers here was a humbling experience. I realized the shoes that I need to fill in and that I had to level up so I can be at par with them. I thought I was already creative being a writer from elementary to college but I am definitely on an amateur level. Each writer here has a different technique of expressing himself artistically. I need a writing workshop because everyone here is just amazing. I wanna be amazing too! I never thought that I would meet generous folks here. The tips that everyone has been giving to each other are just overwhelming. Who am I to not pay it forward? I want to be in this supportive community for a longer time. I would love to lend a hand to those who are new and struggling. I am slowly giving back in my own little ways and I will give more once I am able. I want to be a blessing to others as well! The friendships that I found here are just astounding. I really am happy every time I log in and it excites me to read the adventures of my friends. They have a great impact on my life as read is the only platform where I am socially active. I am grateful that I encounter aspiring writers from different parts of the globe. I am an introvert so being here and just being with myself, being accepted as what I am, and being considered a friend is a blessing that I will be forever grateful for. People here are not judgemental and that makes me comfortable to express my craft. I am just happy, thankful, grateful, my read friends because I am here. I am humbled. I'm just, really, thankful. I got to go, my kid is going to have her practice walking again. It's an exciting activity to witness! **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 **Please visit their profiles dear lods.** And all your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ Leaving this quote for you: "Waysawkaw"-Nurdini Laja...This quote by my friend is just a meaningless word but it made us laugh whenever he says it. **No dramas and Cheers!** ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The lead image was from Unsplash.com

Have you ever eaten an insect and other random questions! October 27, 2021 It is hot today so we were able to wash the rest of our dirty clothes. Are you thankful for the good weather my friend or do you wish it's rainy so you could just chill and sleep? Whatever you wanna do or have done today, I hope you'll be able to do it successfully and cheerfully. Life is too short and unpredictable my friends so do not spend it on hate and procrastination. Here are some interesting, random questions that I found on the Internet. I am sharing another part of me again. **What would you do if you could turn invisible?** I will travel the world and stay in the most expensive and luxurious places. First, within the Philippines. I will go to Amanpulo for 3-5 days and just chill and enjoy the scenery and the beach. Then, to Boracay staying at Station 0. I will then fly to Paris and eat beef wellington at Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. Fly to the UK and take a nap at Buckingham Palace. I will dine in Italy with its brick oven pizza and carbonara. I will sleep and spend 2 days in Santorini until breakfast, then go to Maldives for a swim and lunch. I will then go to Indonesia and take a dip while enjoying the nice island view and then to Thailand for some strolling around. I don't know when I will go home actually if I have this kind of power. **Have you ever laughed at an inappropriate time?** Yes, while interviewing a friend who had been incarcerated. It was recorded so my Filipino teacher got so mad. **Have you ever eaten an insect?** Accidentally yes if swallowing is considered eating lol. I was sleepy and I yawned. The mosquito thought my mouth was a hole so it went inside and I swallowed it. **What do you like to do on a rainy Sunday?** I like to sit at a window watching the rain falling while eating champurrado. Or dance under the rain. Depends on my mood. **Do you own any technology that is now obsolete?** Not anymore. I used to own a Compaq laptop with Windows 98 operating system and it was the freaking 2007! It was a gift from my grandma, she used it once so it was special. It was expensive to upgrade it so I sold it for 1K PHP. **What do you consider to be a waste of time?** For me it is sleeping a lot in a day without doing anything, making the same plans that yield unproductive or inefficient results, waiting for something to happen instead of taking action, and too much laziness. **Can you remember the first film you saw at the cinema?** The first film I watched was "Maging Sino Ka Man" with FPJ or Fernando Poe Jr. and Sharon Cuneta as protagonists. They were my mom's idols. I remembered the cinema being so dark with a huge TV in front of us. **What pictures do you have on your walls?** Unfortunately, we do not put pictures on our walls. I do plan on putting some of our family pictures in the future when we are done renovating our room. We haven't renovated it yet so it's gonna take some time. **What's the most exciting sporting event you have watched?** The most exciting sporting event was the basketball in our barangay during summer when I was a teenager. It was fun to see people coming together to witness such an event, plus I got to meet a lot of cute guys from different places. I like having a crush, it makes me feel giddy. **How healthy is your diet?** It's not healthy. I haven't been eating consciously in the past years but I do listen to my body. When it says I have too many sweets or meat, I drink warm water or warm Calamansi or lemon juice. **How would you feel if the internet stopped working?** It's okay if it stops for a day because it's kind of a rest day but when it lasts for 3 days or more, it will make me mad because my source of income is on the Internet. **What annoys you about the town where you live?** Ah, there are lots! Well, we have a resort in front of our house so we have noisy people swimming and I do envy them when I hear the splash on the pool. Then the loud videoke and music of the bars and food stores. Then we have neighbours shouting in the middle of the noise and some dogs barking. Then a bus that doesn't wanna stop honking its horn. **How do you try to save energy?** I try to save energy by unplugging unused appliances like electric fans, lamps, computers, and phone chargers. I also turn off the TV whenever no one is watching. **Will people work more or less in the future?** People will work less in the future because everything is going to be automated with the development of Artificial Intelligence. And they will become less empathetic and compassionate I think. **If you had more free time, how would you spend it?** I would like to spend it by sleeping 8 hours straight and then going to the spa for a foot and hand massage and a body massage. Then a hairstyle change and hair color. **What kind of books do you like to read?** I like fiction or fantasy, romance, action and adventure. **What games did you play in the school playground?** When I was in elementary, I used to play Chinese garter, marble, patintero, tumbang preso, and hide and seek. **Are you usually on time for events and appointments?** When I was still studying, I was always late. I didn't appreciate the value of being on time but I changed when I started working. I learned to respect other people's time and a business loses a lot of money when someone's late and I didn't want that to happen. **What food didn't you use to like?** I didn't use to like sushi because the fish is raw but when my sister-in-law bought a variety of sushi from a restaurant somewhere in Fairview, I had a change of heart. I hope you were not expecting my answer to be balut or duck's egg because I do not eat that kind of food. (Sorry) **What do you enjoy spending money on?** I enjoy spending the money on buying clothes for myself and my family, giving some of them to my nephews and nieces as gifts, buying food, going to the cinema. **What's your favorite restaurant?** My favorite restaurant is the Wholesome Table in Makati because they serve fresh food. They also support farm-to-market projects and buy fresh produce from the local farmers. I like a company that believes in a cause. **Would you like to live for 1000 years?** No, why would I do that and would I be happy if I see my loved ones die? I'd rather live a few years surrounded by the people I love than live a long life alone and sad. Plus, I don't think I will still look young except if I become a vampire. Thanks for reading my friends. I have to go because it's too hot. And I am excited to go offline because my youngest, Saoirse is going to practice walking later. I wanna see her happy roaming around the neighborhood. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 All your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ Leaving this quote for you: "Fill your heart and mind with love, for everything and everyone responds to love, as love draws the very best out of all."-Eileen Caddy, co-founder of the Findhorn Foundation Community **Cheers and have a great day mates!** ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The lead image was from Unsplash. I realized that earning more BCH is within my grasp! October 26, 2021 Most of the people in the Philippines are not so familiar with other cryptocurrencies aside from Bitcoin and then Etherium. They just didn't know that they can save transaction fees and transfer time with BCH. And I realized that the opportunity to earn more BCH all this time was just right under my nose! The very first platform where I earned the most BCH is, of course, read. Rusty has been generous enough to upvote my articles despite some shortcomings and my sponsors were supportive of me as well. I already discovered that Rusty wanted helpful and inspirational write-ups aside especially promoting BCH. My plan is to write better blogs and promote the platform by using my affiliate link. I will be able to help people earn extra money and at the same time, they will be made aware and learn about BCH and trading. The second one is noise. I am thankful that I am slowly gaining some followers and I am challenged on what kind of post I got to do every day. I used to post random things and it kind of doesn't always work out if I use other languages except for Bisaya. But I appreciate the extra $$ I am getting from noise. The money is also increasing, but I am not quite sure if it's gonna stay that way with the changes. And I have Faucetcrypto. The earning wasn't that much but it has been consistent in its payments. I still visit the site from time to time when I am not so busy. Getting at least 1000 coins and withdrawing it on BCH isn't impossible. There were times though that the BCH wasn't available but there were other cryptocurrencies to choose from as well. Coins.ph has been an instrument of gaining extra BCH as well. All I did was buy 1k PHP worth of BCH and convert t into Philippine pesos when it pumped. I was just impatient and got afraid when the BCH dumped to 20k PHP below so I've withdrawn the money. I did regret doing it because I saw that BCH is trying to get its momentum once again. I am glad that the market, overall, is gaining confidence again. And I have my Morpher account which I was able to grow from $80 to almost $100. For the cryptocurrencies, I expanded from BTC to Cake and BCH. And I am so happy that I gained more than $1 in BCH. I hope it will continue to grow in the next few weeks. I will be HODLing my cryptos and stocks in this platform because the gas fees are expensive aside from the withdraw to bank option is still in the works. If I will keep my focus on doing better in these mediums especially in read and noise, I am confident that I will be able to reach even just 1BCH. I just have to work on publishing fresh, original, credible, and helpful articles and at the same time engage more with the community. I haven't tried catching the cats yet because I only have limited time staying on the Internet. Hopefully, I will be able to participate in future airdrops. Thanks for your time and I hope you won't get tired of supporting me. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 All your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ "Fill your heart and mind with love, for everything and everyone responds to love, as love draws the very best out of all."-Eileen Caddy, co-founder of the Findhorn Foundation Community Cheers and have a great day mates! ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 The Lead image was from Unsplash. Thank you so much for renewing your sponsorship sis @Elyz2021..I am glad that you still have faith in me. I hope you will be blessed with more BCH :D
I went to Robinson's yesterday! October 25, 2021 How was your Sunday my read mates? It kind of rain throughout the day yesterday but it didn't stop me from going to the city to date myself. It was an egotistic, not amorous date but I am glad that I got out of the house. What a breather! I rode a tricycle to the main street and then a jeepney to Robinson's. I already planned it last week that am gonna buy the Halloween treats yesterday. I wanted to stop by at SM Fairview but I might forget to go home on time. When I arrived at Robinson's I went to the grocery store directly. There were lots of sweet treats in the candy area that I wanted to put all in my basket. I picked chocolates, candies, mallows, lollipops, choco, and strawberry sticks, for the 3 kids. I know it will look like the treats are for them but everyone in the house for sure will eat them. I also bought a sweetened choco powder called Mik-Mik. Are you familiar with it? It's one of my childhood favorites and now Bam loves it too. Then I bought diapers for Saoirse. I then visited the department store to buy some Halloween decorations and costumes for Bam and Saoirse. I was kind of disappointed because the stocks were old and expensive. I only bought the artificial spider webs for 69 pesos. Then I went to National Book Store to see I could find some decorations but they only had some balloons for 99 pesos each which I find ridiculous. There was no black cartolina for my DIY decorations, sigh. So I went out of the store and looked for KFC. I was already famished, I've been dying to taste the Supreme Famous Bowl once again just to see the sign "Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to dine in", to my disappointment. I returned to the food stores near the grocery and found Paotsin. Oh, how I missed it too! I ordered crab wanton, sharks fin, Hainanese rice, and buko juice for only 139 pesos. Hallelujah! I enjoyed it despite eating fast. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy costumes and more decorations for the holiday but we will definitely be creative on Sunday. I then went home. And I just realized that I should make a bucket list once I get fully vaccinated. Lol. And do better in my blogs so I can have more BCH and more to spend. I need to catch up with myself more often. That's it about my little date and adventure with myself yesterday. I know Sundays are family days and church time but I decided for a little "me" time, in a haste. Did you go somewhere else aside from staying at home or going to the church? And since it is almost the end of the month, I want to thank my sponsors and subscribers for staying with me. Do you want to become a VA? October 24, 2021 Have you aspired to become a VA or virtual assistant so you can work from home and spend more time with your family? But getting hired is almost impossible. Some are lucky enough to get hired in a short manner of time but others waited for months or years to land an online job. **So am gonna give you some tips on how to get started. But first, let me enumerate the advantages of working at home:** No need to wake up 5 or 4 hours before the shift because the workstation is just nearby. You don't have to allot 1 to 2 hours for the preparation and 2-3 hours for travel. No need to take a bath or brush teeth unless your PC has a nose. You can work on your PJs, as long as there are no meetings. You can see your loved ones especially kids most of the time. You can bond with them as soon as you're done working or even while working if the work permits. You get to earn in foreign currencies and Paypal, Payoneer, or any other payment services will be your best friend. You're lucky if the exchange rate is high. You can save money for the food and transportation plus you get to eat home-cooked meals. Unless no one cooks and you always go for takeaways. Since you're not traveling, you can set the money aside either for emergencies, savings, investment, etc. **These are just some of the advantages but how about the disadvantages?** If you're an extrovert then it might not be for you. It's not fun to socialize virtually most of the time or you'll easily burn out if you only work alone. You'll have the first level of stress when you work from home especially with the kids fighting, arguing with a member of the family, or receiving bad news firsthand. You'll deal with distractions either from your kids, parents, partner, your barking dogs, clucking chickens, passing vehicles, loud videoke, fighting or laughing neighbors, etc You got to change your tax status and submit several documents to the BIR. You even have to undergo a seminar and print your own receipts for taxation purposes. I hate this part. But should you wish to continue on becoming a VA: Know your talents and skills. You can make a list of your skills, the tools, and the systems you are familiar with. Choose a niche. Do you want to take calls like in the BPO or do you like to become a real estate appointment setter? Or do you only want a pure nonvoice job? Data entry or project management? Analysis or social media? Research about the platforms that hire VAs like Upwork, Onlinejobs.ph, Go VA, Cyberbacker, Filipina Homebased Moms, etc. Do you want to be hired directly or use a hiring company? Research about the salary of your chosen job. There are a lot of scammers who would want a free service or offer rates as low as $1/hour. Be made aware. Join VA groups in Social media like FB but be warned about scammers, again. Research about the company that wants to hire you. If the offer is either too good to be true or too low, stay away from the company. Update your resume and cover letter. There are a million ways to make either your resume or cover letter catchy: it speaks a lot about you so make it count. Gone were the days where you can only make a resume through MS Word, make a video. Be resourceful and be creative in selling yourself! Do not be discouraged if you're not hired the first or 100th time, the right client will come at the right time. Learn from your mistakes and be always prepared for the interviews and exams. This is one of the most important tips: invest in good equipment like a sophisticated laptop or PC, a backup Internet like a pocket Wifi and a generator, if possible. You might need to have a dual monitor as well for multi-tasking. Make sure your computer can handle multiple opened apps at the same time. Your equipment specs depend on the nature of your job. Make good research and ask for recommendations from seasoned VAs or computer experts. I hope this article helped you my friends in pursuing your dream of becoming a VA. Do you have any questions that I might be able to help you with? Let me know by commenting below! Thanks for your time and I hope you won't get tired of reading my articles. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 All your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ "Fill your heart and mind with love, for everything and everyone responds to love, as love draws the very best out of all."-Eileen Caddy, co-founder of the Findhorn Foundation Community ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 All images are mine unless stated otherwise.

Never have I ever...Unfiltered edition. 😆😛 October 23, 2021 How are you, mga lods? It's now the weekend again, how time flies so fast. I hope you're having a blast or had a blast wherever you are around the globe. Funny, I have never received a gift from my partner for the past 2 years since he had no job. He gave me a pack of Milo and said "Happy Monthsary!". We all laughed. And the situation is applicable to my write-up today which Never have I ever... I thought I have experienced and done all the good stuff in life, and this challenge is an eye-opener that there are some things that I never had, have to dream again, or aspire to fulfill in the future. Thanks to sis @yhanne for the idea of what to publish today. Never have I ever... 💎Kissed someone on the lips when I was in my teenage years. I was curious about kissing, I even asked a male classmate about how it feels to kiss but I never tried because I might get addicted to it. I didn't wanna lose control. 💎Had PMS or premarital sex in my teenage years. I only did it when I was 24. It wasn't enjoyable the first time, never appreciated it. 💎Cheated at work just to be recognized or get merit that I have never worked for. I believe that it's good to reap the fruit of your labor if you're fair and honest. I did cheat when I was studying, not most of the time. It was when I wanted to be the only one with a perfect score but there was 1 mistake on the paper which my teacher missed. I think it happened twice or thrice. 💎Been inside Manila Pen...I was able to see Shangri La Makati when I was with 24/7 but with Manila Pen, I was only up to the stairs and their fountains. I wish I can go inside someday. If you have access for free, please don't forge me hehe... 💎Eaten a frog. I cannot imagine savoring it although they say it's like chicken but no thank you. I have tasted a bat though. 💎Been to a skating rink. It is my dream and I guess it will come true soon when my girls are big enough. I just don't know how to ice skate, perhaps someone can teach me? 💎Went outside Pinas. I wanted to go to Thailand and Indonesia because of their pristine, white beaches but maybe soon. Oh and I have changed my list, the number one destination is Japan so Bam can enjoy the snow and go to Disneyland at the same time. 💎Drank alcohol got drunk and wasted when I was in college because I was so focused on finishing my studies. The goal was to make sure I don't do anything stupid lol so I gotta get rid of whatever could be a bad influence. I did drink beer when I was 12 though. 💎Had a set of different types of colors in my entire life. I did have a set of regular crayons but unlike what my daughter has nowadays where she can choose to paint, use color pens, color pencils, etc. I do envy her. Oh, and one of my happiest moments was when I bought my very first paintbrush. 💎Had a Barbie doll when I was a kid. I mean, it was the thing, and all I did to experience it was play with my cousins. I wasn't bitter about not having it though, I preferred marbles and Chinese garter. 💎Been to Boracay and Palawan. If sis @bheng620 can accommodate me someday lol. I wish to swim all day on both beaches. I want to view the sunset and sunrise and just meet and have fun with the locals. Could you help me, please? 💎Been bitten by a dog and I pray that it won't happen to me. Our dog, Sadam, almost bit me when I was 10 or 11 but I had a good reflex so I jumped when he tried. I don't want too many injections, I've had enough already lol. 💎Had my own birthday cake until I was 12. My Mama bought it from SM with that blue dress that I had never worn. I only had it once but of course, I celebrated my birthdays with a cake when I already had a job. I think I could go on and on but it will become too dramatic. Rusty doesn't like too many dramas lol. Does it matter who started it first? 🔥🔥🔥 October 22, 2021 Social media is swamped with thousands of Marites about the latest gossip of Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica's separation. Kylie is Robin Padilla's daughter while Aljur is Batman's son, just kidding. They are now blaming each other for the destruction of their family life because of infidelity. The guy said Kylie started it first but does that justify his actions that he's rumored to have a new girlfriend? They aren't divorced or annulled yet (Gigil mo si ako eh no). But the question is, does it matter who cheated first? Would it alleviate someone's guilt and make him or her less guilty to do the same thing while married? I don't wanna judge but here are my takeaways from their relationship: 1. If cheating has been an issue in a relationship, you better think twice about whether or not you will marry the person. If your partner is a liar or lies constantly, I am pretty sure he'll cheat so save yourself and your future: runaway! 2. Privacy in the relationship. I know it is difficult for celebrities to keep their marital status a secret but as public figures and role models, it would be better not to post about it on social media because it can be misinterpreted and misquoted by people. Social media won't help you with your problems, resolve matters privately. 3. Respect your partner. If you think you are no longer happy and growing in the relationship just be honest and end it with respect. You once loved and cared for that person, give him or her the dignity he or she deserves. 4. You're somebody. Being a public figure means people look up to you so you gotta be careful about what you say or do. You can either inspire or break someone's heart. It won't be easy but it's your social responsibility. 5. Beauty sometimes but attitude always matters. The couple looked perfect but their physical appearance didn't strengthen their relationship. It's not how you look but how you handle people. A relationship isn't a matter of face value but a matter of the heart. I am glad I didn't join the showbusiness and rejected my celebrity suitor😰😰. Living in a spotlight is not my thing, and cheating is rampant in showbiz. I just wanna live in peace. I am just kidding, peace y'all. I am not usually into celebrity gossips but it's so overwhelming that netizens were talking about it. An influencer named Senyora, (Do you know who she is?) even had a quiz about it lol. And also an influencer Pambansang Uga can't move on with the issue. Do you believe in the saying "Once a cheater, always a cheater?". Let me know your opinion. Thanks for your time and I hope you won't get tired of reading my articles. **To my sponsors old and new: thank you very much, I owe you one!** 🙏🙏 All your likes, subscriptions, and upvotes are greatly appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ ©**Ngotngot**, the fyrfinex 🔥🐦 Lead Image from Unsplash.com
The best Wi-Fi name, is cereal a soup, is a hotdog a sandwich...Some funny random questions! October 21, 2021 Day 2 of not having an Internet connection. Hello dear read friends, since we still do not have an internet connection at home, let's try to laugh a little bit. Here are some another random funny questions that I found on the internet: 1. Is cereal soup? Why or why not? Cereal is a soup. I checked Google and it said a soup consists of mixing vegetables with water, milk, and stock. Link here. https://www.google.com/search?q=soup+is+composed+of&oq=soup+is+composed+of&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30l2j69i60j69i65j69i60l3.4544j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Or I might be wrong because cereal is a grain, not a vegetable. 2. What is the sexiest and least sexy name? The sexiest name for me is Liam, it is for me, one of the most common names in Australia. And the least sexy name is my name, Glessa. I don't really like it but I don't have a choice since my papa named me. I want it changed if I have the chance. 3. What secret conspiracy would you like to start? I wish people would see the air so they will know if it's already dirty or not. 5. What’s the weirdest smell you have ever smelled? The weirdest smell that I have ever smelled is a person's feet. They are not very pleasant at all but others' feet just smell so horrible. They're like rotten flesh of dead animals or something. 6. Is a hotdog a sandwich? Why or why not? A hotdog is a sandwich because it is "sandwiched" in between buns. 7. What’s the best Wi-Fi name you’ve seen? The best Wi-Fi name I've seen was "No Wi-Fi". 8. What’s the most ridiculous fact you know? That the world is getting warmer and warmer but most world leaders do not seem to bother at all. Or I may be just misinformed? 9. What is something that everyone looks stupid doing? When someone sees a poop and he touches it and smells it to confirm it is really a poop. 10. What is the funniest joke you know by heart? "You look like a saint, Saint Bernard". 11. In 40 years, what will people be nostalgic for? People will be nostalgic for clean air and clean water. 12. What are the unwritten rules of where you work? Don't let anyone catch you if you're doing something unethical or against the company policies. 13. How do you feel about putting pineapple on pizza? I love pineapples on a pizza, what are you talking about? 14. What part of a kid’s movie completely scarred you? https://reelrundown.com/animation/6-Terrifying-and-Scarring-Childrens-Movies When Little Foot's mom died in the Land Before Times movie. 15. I think it is the monkey because they are always cheeky and naughty. 17. Toilet paper, over or under? It should be over. I don't want to get toilet paper under a thing. Do you wanna stand up while your butt is dirty or wet? 18. What’s the best type of cheese? For me it is parmesan. It is just perfect with cheese and pizza. 19. Where is the strangest place you’ve urinated or defecated? I have like 3, the river, the ocean, the crab's hole. 20. What’s the best inside joke you’ve been a part of? Pass, could not remember. 21. In one sentence, how would you sum up the internet? The Internet is a world full of conspiracy, composed of different worlds full of crazy people including me. 22. How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant? I think it will take 500 chickens to kill an elephant because it is so big and strong. They need to scratch the elephant altogether. 23. What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever worn? I have worn a T-shirt to cover my underwear because we went swimming and I didn't bring any extra clothes with me. I only have a limited time to engage with you guys but I will try to make it up to you once our connection is back. Anyways, what is your Internet connection? Do you always have issues with it? Glad that we didn't have an Internet connection today! October 20, 2021 I hope you are doing great, wherever you may be, "lods". Sorry, if I had to call you "lods". That's how I call my Noise friends. It means idol. Anyways, I observed that my mobile was slow in loading my FB page and my suspicion was right, we don't have an Internet connection. It happened the whole day and still none up to this time of writing. I do have my pocket Wifi so I am able to publish my story today. Well, I am glad because it means more offline time for my daughter and partner! My partner and our daughter started their day in the car. Saoirse loved exploring the driver's seat. I am pretty sure she's already bored staying inside the house all day for more than a year and a change of environment is exciting to her. And they hang out in the car in the afternoon again. While my daughter Bam and I had to go out to buy Saoirse an L-size diaper. Bam was pretty ecstatic, she ran happily on the road, like a puppy that has just tasted freedom for the first time. And when she reached a neighbour's house that has a Hibiscus flower, she saw a butterfly. She exclaimed, "Mommy, I've never seen a yellow butterfly! You should have brought your phone!", and I said," Sorry anak, it's low bat." We stopped by a neighbour's house with an aluminum gate and a CCTV, Bam was dancing in front of the gate, laughing at her reflection! I wasn't embarrassed though, just thinking about what the neighbour might say seeing her silly actions. I hope they'll just laugh at it. She said, " I wish I could see more beautiful places". And I started giving her life's lessons, "If you study and strive hard, you'll go to beautiful places that you'll never imagine exist". And then she got annoyed when we were about to pass a dirty, watery road. She said. " I wish, we won't pass here. It's so dirty". I told her, "The roads in our lives won't be all beautiful and clean but you have to pass the dirty road and you can go anywhere you want to". Then we crossed the wet road on the way to our favorite grocery store. We entered the pharmacy to look for the diaper. She loved the coolness of the AC and shouted, " I wanna stay here forever, I love the coldness of the aircon!". And I responded, "You wanna work here? Maybe you can be a pharmacy assistant. They'll pay you and you can save your money". She answered, "Maybe when I am 10!". The pharmacist was laughing at her statement and said, "Do you wanna work here?". Bam said, "When I am bigger". We then went to the other store on the second floor and searched for some items for the Halloween party. She wanted to buy a number 8 candle for her birthday. Because I didn't give in to her demand, she roamed around the store and danced when a piece of music was played. And when we were done, we went to buy her first-ever milk tea. I chose the dark chocolate flavor for her. She loved it! Since my dad-in-law requested for us to check on the newest grocery store in the vicinity, we went inside. And Bam was so ecstatic. She was like, "Mom, they have a big and small Milo!". I was a little embarrassed and I said, "You've never seen that before?", and when she saw a Hello Kitty watch with candies inside, she wanted me to buy it. I denied her request once again. And I said, "Let's hurry, it's starting to get dark". She asked, "Why do we have to hurry?". "I got to take a bath and Saoirse might be cranky". She was complaining of her tired feet and wanted for us to take a tricycle but we didn't have to because we're near our house. She was tired when we arrived while I hurriedly took a bath and fed Saoirse after. Then I played with my baby until she pooped and fell asleep when I was done cleaning her. And that lods, was my adventure for today. Don't you want to go offline from time to time and spend more of it with your kids or partner? What exciting thing did you do today, either by yourself, a friend, or a family member? I gotta end this because I might run out of data. To my lovely sponsors, thank you as always! Have a lovely day. Cheers! Ngotngot, the fyrfinex. ..The lead image was from Unsplash
My world, the world has changed. October 19, 2021 I have published an article in honor of my Mom more than a week ago. Luckily, I got a friend who helped me go home to see her for the last time. I never thought that I was good enough to deserve that kind of help. I never went home 4 years after I got my daughter and the last time I told my mom before we leave was "Don't cry". I didn't want to see her cry because I know we would be back. But yeah, I returned to see her wake and bury her. So I made some preparations before going home to Iligan City. Changes in traveling I easily booked a plane ticket via Cebupacific and paid through Gcash. I had to also have my antigen swab test to make sure I am not a carrier so I went to the clinic on the 5th and paid 960 pesos. It only took 30-45 minutes to get the result. It was negative. I felt relieved. I then went to the Barangay Hall and declared I am going to travel. I got their phone number so I can call them when I am to return to Manila. I was afraid that I might be positive with Covid because I had a headache, sore throat, and runny nose because I cried. My mother-in-law was worried because I am going to travel and I might get infected somewhere in-between especially on the plane. But do you know that the plane is considered to be one of the safest places because of its filtering system? The HEPA filters remove 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, etc. and you have your mask and face shield, virus transmission is almost impossible. But due to the WHO mandate, passengers are still required to follow minimum health protocols. My daughter didn't really sleep the whole time on the 5th of October so I was so tired and I had to travel to Mindanao, wow. Thanks to Biogesic and Vitamin C, I had extra energy. On the 6th of October at 7:00 AM, my dad-in-law and eldest Bam drove me to the nearest taxi terminal. I felt awkward because it was my first time in a taxi after 2 years. It was covered in plastic. And of course, I took my first taxi pandemic selfie. Caloocan is far from Terminal 3, I was praying that the traffic jam won't be that bad because I didn't wanna pay 1K for the taxi. Good thing, it was only 635 but I gave 800 to the driver. I know life is hard for all of us, but I just wanna make it a little easier for him. And when I arrived at the airport, I was carrying an infant seat for my granddaughter. I was advised to check it in, the passengers are only allowed 1 hand carry so I paid 1k for the baggage fee. What a pain! My smartphone wasn't very cooperative too, I couldn't open the s-pass.ph website. Since I will land at Laguindingan airport but go to Iligan, the CDO LGU required an s-pass. And the Iligan LGU required a travel clearance. The documents needed were negative rapid or antigen test results, a vaccination card, ID, and a plane ticket before they issued the clearance. I asked for assistance from the Info Desk and voila, got my s-pass. While waiting for the flight, I ate Arroz Caldo because I was already famished. And then, I took my second pandemic selfie in the airport. Everyone's trying to act like everything is normal but it really wasn't. But we, Filipinos, are resilient. We are good at handling difficult challenges. After an hour, we were then called to board the plane. I was excited and sad at the same time. I do feel thankful for the help of my friends and family members, especially the financial part because it made going home possible with fewer hassles. There were only limited services on the plane to avoid infection. There was no selling of snacks and everybody was required to bring their own liter. While on the plane, I took my third pandemic selfie. We landed at 1:55 PM in Laguindingan International Airport. I had my lunch at Dunkin' Donuts and then chose a van to Iligan. I was annoyed because a man took his mask off while in the van, perhaps I was so paranoid about getting the virus. I just couldn't imagine giving it to my family members. No freaking way. My world has changed IWhen I arrived at my sister's house, I inhaled steamed water with salt. Then rested for a while before going to my mother's wake. It was so painful seeing her in the coffin. I felt she didn't want me to see her that way. Oh my, I'm gonna miss you a lot Mama. I could still hear you in my thoughts singing "You Made Me Live Again". You had a powerful and beautiful voice that's why you were devastated when you had a stroke and couldn't sing anymore. Singing was your passion, your happiness. But I know you're already pain-free and happier wherever you may be. You can now sing your heart out. Wakes and burials have changed Before wakes were full of noisy people and you could see them playing card or board games until wee hours. Not during the pandemic because the people are cautious about the situation. I was wearing a mask the whole time, even if there were only a few people. I didn't wanna let my guard down. I talked to some of the visitors especially my Mama's friends and my cousins, I sang songs with my nephew and attended the worship for my mother until I became so tired. My sister and I then checked in to a lodge somewhere with our granddaughter, Pixie. Goodbye Ma, and thank you, friends and family On the 7th of October at 11:00 AM, we buried our Mama. I didn't have the guts to take videos and photos. It was just so heartbreaking for me. I didn't even look at her for the last time before she was buried. I wanna remember her beautiful face forever. After the burial, we had lunch at my elder sister's house. I called the Caloocan LGU advising them of my return. And then I went to my aunt's place to take care of some family issues. She gave me shoes for my kids and myself. And my cousins, Aunt, and grandma brought me to the airport for my flight at 4:20 PM. My cousin tempted me to have a stopover at the beach near the airport because I complained about not being on a beach for years. I arrived at the airport and had a snack, then I took my 4th pandemic selfie at Laguindingan International Airport while waiting to board the plane. I arrived in Manila at 6:00 PM, had diner at Windy's inside Terminal 3, and waited for a grab. Goodness, the fare was more than 1K PHP. But I was glad that I had experienced the Skyway. I arrived home almost 9:00 PM, inhaled steamed water with salt, took a bath, and stayed in my daughter's room for quarantine. I never felt so tired and sleepy that I doze off for 10 hours straight. I then went to a nearby clinic for my second antigen swab test and was relieved that I am still negative. I'm ending this article with a quote "The best place to cry is on a mother’s arms.” —**Jodi Picoult** Saying goodbye to my mother still hurts me and I think I'm gonna carry this pain until my last breath. Why Ate Bambam is the best sister in the world👧 to Saoirse. October 18, 2021 Are you going to keep the baby? That was the question asked by my aunt when she knew I was pregnant. My loved ones got disappointed with me since I graduated with honors and was the smartest among the siblings. My grandma even stopped talking to me until now. But why wouldn't I keep my baby? I gave up my dreams for her. I had Ate Elora or Ate Bambam and I didn't regret having her because she's beautiful and smart. Despite going through pregnancy mostly alone even handling my financial needs. Six years after, I gave birth to another baby girl called Saoirse. I have seen Bam grow when we had her little sister. She never fails to amaze me every day since she became an "ate". She is the best "ate" to Saoirse because: She is her **second mom** 👩👩👧👧😘💗 When Saoirse was a few weeks old, Bam would help her dad take care of her. She assisted him in changing her nappies, getting her milk bottles, and everything her little sister needs. One time Saoirse released her missile poop to Jas, she hurriedly went downstairs and told everyone that her daddy is full of poop. Every time Bam sees me tired and sleepy she would say "Mom, I"ll take care of Saoirse. I will call daddy for help. Just go to sleep". She is her **playmate** 👧👧 My duty was taking care of Saoirse during night time when she was a few months old and I am asleep during the daytime. Bam would play with Saoirse so her dad could do his thing. She taught Saoirse how to play with the ball, became her horsey, did pretend play, and just recently played puzzles with her. I love seeing them having a great bonding time. It makes me appreciative of life and motherhood. She is her **clown** 🤡 Aside from being Saoirse's playmate, Ate Bam is her clown. Bam makes her sister laugh, giggle, and scream with her silly faces. She doesn't wanna see Saoirse crying so whenever Saoirse is sad, Bam would stop whatever she is doing and gently touches Saoirse's hair. She then tells Saoirse "It's okay Saoirse". And kisses her after. She is Saoirse's **protector** 🛡️ Bam doesn't want any insect to land on her sister's body. She immediately shoos it away. And if they play with their cousin and Saoirse is being disadvantaged, Bam then shields her sister with her arm and hisses on her. She shows her angry face or hard stare to anyone she sees as a threat to Saoirse. She is her **number 1 fan** 1️⃣ Ate Bam's heart melts every time her sister makes a sweet gesture. She always says "You're the cutest baby". If Saoirse looks good in her dress, it makes her so proud and happy. She's so patient and forgiving when it comes to her little sister. I realized that my eldest and I had gone through a lot together and I am happy that I taught her lessons in life at such an early age. I remember her teacher's remark when she was in Kindergarten, "Elora taught us a lot about life and the surroundings instead of us teaching her about them"...Daughters are a true blessing from God. So lods, do you have a daughter or would you like to have one? What's your funniest moment with her? Thank you po sir Ed @TengoLoToDo for renewing your sponsorship :) I will try my best not to fail you and the rest of my sponsors. I will also pay it forward!
From a CSR to a VA/Customer Service Lead October 17, 2021 Working in the BPO for a decade made me what I am today. Also, its world-class culture and product training gave me skills that helped me a lot when I started working from home. But finding an online job wasn't easy: the competition is stiff. You could find a job but some wages were below the minimum. I tried going back to Upwork but I just felt I wasn't fit for it. I also tried applying to other VA companies or onlinejobs.ph but the salary or offer was too low. Last 2017, I saw a post on Fb about eCommerce University so I applied for a scholarship and luckily got chosen. I chose to study eContent Writing. eCommerce University was an amazing platform and was being moderated by Filipino VAs. eContent Writing was a self-paced course and I finished it a year after enrolling. When I finally got my certificate, I was endorsed to the eCommerce Graduate platform. eCommerce University was already making its name hence it wasn't so difficult for clients to find their VAs. After a few months of waiting, I got my first VA or Virtual Assistance job with Amrita, a New York-based mortar and pestle store but decided to open its online shop. I started working on April 24, 2018, not as a content writer but as a Customer Service Lead because of my previous experience. I was the only one working for the business at that time and we were in the process of migration. The store transferred from Woocommerce to Shopify and I didn't have any idea about online business tools. I had to study and learn while working with no training at all. It was a good thing that I was a Computer Science graduate because I was able to adapt to my new environment, my technical skills saved me. When I formally started as CS Lead, I never thought that there were a lot of challenges I needed to face: we got a number of angry customers because of double orders and charges, monthly subscription issues, delayed orders, marketing issues, and email management problems. The first thing that I did was, I checked our ordering system at the back end and figured out the double order issues. I was able to stop the shipment of pending double orders in the system. My boss Ar said it was okay if the customers won't pay for the second order but I was grateful that some of them either paid in full, paid half the price on the second order, returned the second order. I was happy that the company prevented further losses. Then I scrutinized the subscription issues. Some customers didn't receive their monthly order because of the system migration so I called them one by one. I processed manual orders for the others while the rest was willing to wait until we were settled. Then we ordered an app for the subscription. I think it was called Orderify if I am not mistaken. I also checked all the orders for the month and determined the reasons for the delay. I even talked to the owner of the shipping company and coordinated with our project manager if the delayed orders could be sent out ASAP once the stocks are available. I then called the affected customers, apologized, and updated them with the status of their orders. I gave them a discount code as compensation for our shortcomings. Some of our customers tagged us as spam due to the frequency of the marketing emails they received from the shop so I unsubscribed them as per their request. My boss didn't want to do so, so I explained to him that a company with good customer service empowers its consumers. So I changed the frequency preferences of the customers who still wanted to hear from us based on their choice. I then took care of our store inbox and answered each complaint and inquiry until all problems were resolved. After it, I then supervised the orders in Amazon and contacted the customers who had issues with their orders. I also addressed customer concerns in Amazon by responding to the cases they opened against us and closed most of them. I was happy that I helped the business grow. Its Google reviews increased with great feedback on Customer Service. I learned to manage orders via Shopify, editing its product details and descriptions using Wix, fixed the website, while handling the phone, chat, and email, and even got new high-paying clients. Since everything was already fixed, my boss then hired a Social Media Manager and a Shopify manager. I was so happy because I wasn't bored anymore. I then created the store's SOPs as a training guide for the future Customer Service Lead and as a reference if a backup is needed when the CS Lead isn't around. Amrita was my first online business job experience and I did love it. But I had to leave because of my health. Two years after, my boss told me I could go back if I wished to. He wanted me to become a project manager before and I wonder if that offer still stands. By the way, my probationary salary was $4/hr and increased to $5/hr after a month. For me, it's pretty decent already. Do you love your current job, my friend? What were the challenges you faced in your role? Do you have a great working relationship with your boss? Ngotngot!! That's what my ate would call me every time she's annoyed at me when I leave the house to either play with my friends in the neighborhood or go to the beach with them. "All you do is play, hang out with your friends. Why don't you help with the household chores? That will make us very happy! I just don't know why you are so lazy", my eldest sister desperately said. But I didn't want to listen! "You are like Juan Tamad!", she added... If you don't know who he is, he was a guy who would wait for a guava fruit to fall while his mouth is widely opened. His story is a part of Filipino culture. The nerve of my sister comparing me to him but it's true, I really was lazy. When I was in elementary, I won't take a bath unless my sisters boil water for me. Waking up at 4:30 or 5:00 AM is too cold. They had to wake up early to do it and bathe me. Yup, my ate would sermon me while cleaning my body. I don't even fix our bed after waking up. It couldn't find any happiness to do it, we'll go back to sleep on it anyways. They say I am like a snake leaving my skin behind and then getting back to it. And I didn't wanna sweep our wide ground. I could only imagine my sister's anger upon seeing the Kaimito or starfruit leaves. "Ngotngoott!! I told you to sweep all the leaves, the surrounding looks so dirty!". "It's still early, if I sweep right now they'll just pile up. I will do it before the sun sets", I told ate while walking towards the door. I am the youngest and I felt so privileged to just be lazy. And I was a papa's girl, I was untouchable. "Look at your cousin April, she already knows how to take care of her siblings. She even laundries their clothes, iron them and wash the dishes. And you? You don't know anything! Your dirty clothes are all begging for soap and water. Be like your cousin", sermoned Lola Pinas. So I took our dirty clothes and rinse them thrice. I didn't know if it has to be soaped and soaked, or brushed. I proudly hang them under the sun. "Ngotngottt! What did you do?", my ate's blood pressure was almost out of control. "I thought Lola wanted me to be like April?", I replied. "The clothes are still stinky!", ate desperately responded. "I did what I thought was right", I sadly said. Then one day, "Glaiza, can you go to your uncle's house and turn the light on?", Papa ordered. I didn't listen and pretended to sleep until I heard him fighting with my uncle because of the light. It was so bad that they almost killed each other because of my laziness. "Dear Ma'am I am sorry if I am absent because I have a stomach ache"...Then a headache, toothache, and all the other aches I could use as an excuse. I didn't wanna go to school because I didn't have shoes, I wanted to watch my favorite Julio at Julia, or I just wanna climb the guava tree, eat its fruit and just kill the time. I don't wanna defend my attitude when I was younger. But I learned a lot from my laziness. I changed as the years gone by. I just wished I knew how to properly do the household chores just like how my Spanish great-grandma Julia did. But I believe I am doing my best by remembering what I've observed from her and my sisters. Thanks for reading my friends! This is my entry for this week's prompt which is **laziness**.
