However, my father, a faithful advocate and lover of canines, once told me when my first puppy was dying after 10 years of a beautiful life that we enjoyed by his side the following:
"Daughter puppies don't live as long as we do because they are beings of kindness who don't need to learn what humans do need to know about the good."
This affirmation marked me for my whole life, as well as in that moment where I was heartbroken it comforted me in such a way that it relieved me of the pain I had for the loss of my first canine companion.
The puppy looks so cutee!! Indeed, they are more loyal than humans. Kidding! I am sorry for your loss. I know how it felt to lose someone you love.
