Just as in the past, the agriculture sector was not so important as it is today. In today's world, the use of fertilizers as well as machinery and scientific medicine is producing them well.
Pakistan is primarily an aristocratic country and is known all over the world for its agricultural productivity but the agricultural land resources are not the same in every region of Pakistan. Water is available while some areas lack fertile land, good climate and foot water and excellent groundwater facilities.In some areas, irrigation is done through canals and tube wells, and in some areas, agriculture is largely dependent on rainfall. Due to this regional difference, the rate of production per acre of land in different regions varies considerably.
Reasons for average yield per acre:
1. To date we have not been able to reach the goal of self-sufficiency in the gold field as our agriculture is lagging behind.Today, in developed countries, farming is done with the help of modern machines, while in our country, old and traditional methods of agriculture are used, which does not significantly increase the average yield per acre.
2. Pakistan has an extensive irrigation system but cannot irrigate all the arable land in Bina, which is creating irrigation problems. This is also one of the reasons for the average yield per acre.
3. Natural calamities (floods and earthquakes, etc.), the problem of bean and sorghum, use of substandard seeds and fertilizers, uneducated farmers' difficulty in obtaining agricultural credit and crop diseases are also the reasons for average yield per acre.
