It is said that alcohol in small doses, undeniably has a liberating effect on our inhibitions.
Well, as a teetotaller, I wouldn't exactly claim to be an authority in the arena where men gulp tonnes of millions of that refined and distilled substance they love to drink so much.
As we all know, Men and Women take alcohol for different reasons. It is common knowledge that the vast majority, drink it simply because the fashion of our times made it an integral part of relaxation during a particular time of the day. But besides that, there are others, who use it as a vehicle that conveys them into a temporary alien state.
Alcohol removes the psychological barriers which both hinder man and protect him. Under the influence of it, a man may then be led to commit acts that he would not ordinarily do on an empty stomach because of his level of education, inhibitions, or his own taboos.
Let's take sex as an example;
It is said that, when taken in small doses, alcohol tends to give women "the feeling of being physically aroused sexually, when in reality, the opposite happens. Science has proven that the woman may feel aroused under the influence and may boldly demand sex. But in actual form, vaginal lubrication decreases with intoxication, such that the woman usually wakes up practically bruised and in pain around the virginal area, the next day.
As for those men and women who go beyond three drinks, the effects are catastrophic in the sexual dimension. Erection problems, fatigue, decreased desire, decreased sensitivity, and so on and forth takes over, to render anyone incapable of getting or delivering the desired effect. Worst still, the memory of a supposedly beautiful moment, may not be recollected.
In my opinion, drinking alcohol to overcome a sexual difficulty or as a means to transform oneself into a different but temporary state of emboldening is therefore a very bad idea. There may even be a slight chance of becoming overly dependent on it, which in any event, may lead to alcoholism. No wonder, it is said, " excess is the enemy of virility"..
So I asked again, is alcohol a sexual stimulant? TRUE OR FALSE?
Sincerely, @izge .
Alcohol is injuries to health
