It's the second day of October already, and it feels like days are moving in a fast paced. We go through a lot situations, either favorable or unfavorable. When things don't seem to be okay, we'd like to skip that day and hoping for a better day.
Last September, we were met with challenges. The very first day of the month, my wife had slight fever and colds. I was worried because of possible Covid infection. The last time we went out of the house was the week of August 20, the day when my uncle passed away from COVID-19. Our second dose for Covid vaccination was last September 2. I was thinking of not having my wife getting vaccinated but the two doctors we contacted told us to just go, and let the vaccinator decide. Eventually, she was vaccinated too.
I haven't had any bad side effects other than heaviness of the arms. My wife who had colds and slight fever begin to have sore throat. Thus, my worry has intensified. On September 3, we found out that my cousins are positive with Covid-19, and they live very close to our house. Good thing our houses has divisions but they're very close.
I was paranoid because of possibility Covid is airborne, we left our room which is the closest to our neighbor. I also learned that at the households of my cousins, more than 5 of them are positive with the virus.
My wife had undergone self-quarantine because of her symptoms. Actually, she lost her sense of smell in the evening that it got me scared but it went back in the morning. I planned of getting her tested but we're advised not to. Or else the LGUs will take her, which their quarantine facilities are at bad state. The time she lost her sense of smell, she's feeling better except cough. Actually, my wife is feeling good that she's feeling better in just a week. We decided to let her quarantine finished in 14 days.
I had been very careful too for wearing masks often, not going near her even several meters away, spray alcohol and Lysol here and there, and of course, disinfect the utensils she used for eating. My friend who's at the health sector told me it's not Covid. My wife's immune system might have just dropped, and it coincided with the vaccination.
My brother from Cagayan also called me that he got Covid cases infection. He had oxygen on to help him in his breathing but he believes it's not severe. His wife, aunt-in law, and daughter are infected too. So far they are better now.
My close friend was Covid positive, and spent the month at the house. It is severe that he even said he might not survive. Thank God he survived but he's still undergoing recovery.
My friend (our photographer during our wedding last June) also messaged me yesterday that he suffered severe Covid too. He said if he was brought to the hospital, he might have died. I was also informed that a couple in their town (my father served as a witness on their wedding), passed away with Covid too. I was very saddened about these people close to me, and some even had passed away. These all happened last September.
September Report
This month, I earned around $68.32 here on Read.cash. That's a bit lower than last month's $69.48. Each of my posts has earned around $1 to $3, while two posts had crossed more than $4.
Hoping that this October, everything will improve, and that this month may be better than September. I was still saddened about people getting infected with Covid, but hoping things will improve since number of cases is declining. Also, may my earnings will also improve here but that depends on my work, and if my posts will be given attention.
