I don’t often play by the rules of poetry, but every time and again, it does happen.. There will be much in this world to dim your smile, Many things that will cause you pain, But there is also much more that is worthwhile, To make your hopes never in vain. Somewhere, someplace, someone is searching for you, Scarred, bent and broken as we all are, Know that your love is meant to be true, For your many nights of wishing on a star. Those nights of loneliness and sighs of ache Will soon be a distant memory upon which You will finally believe in love, yours to take As you hold them close, feelings so rich. This is the dream and promise of the lonely hearted, One that will be blessed if you don't lose faith, The journey to find love that you long ago started, The true love, yours forever until the sun's dying rays. I'll be waiting past the horizon for you.. my love, my soulmate, my one true thing. Always and Forever, I shall be ever yours, unending- Until I find you in the next life..Evermore.
