Work Without Pay

Three years ago, I moved in with my sister’s family because they are the one that can be able to provide for me and support my education until I finished college.

I mentioned on my previous article The Team Gets it Done that they have a business and because there is no such thing as free lunch, I have to work for them as one of their saleslady.

I actually love what I do. I am exposed at business and I am gaining more and more experience that is really useful on my studies as a Business Administration major in Marketing Management Student.

But even though I love what I do, i'm still not exempted to physical exhaustion. I am so much grateful for my sister and her family for providing me with everything that I need but I feel so tired from working --without pay.

What made me different from other staffs is that there is no pay day that I am looking forward to because I am actually the one that is paying them back for everything that they have given to me through my hardwork.

I don't want to sound ungrateful because like what I've said, I am so much grateful for them but the work is being tiring day by day. And it's really hard specially that I have to work and study at the same time.

I have been working hard for a long time now and even though that they already done too much for me, I feel ashamed but I think I need more. And it's not like i'm having so much in the first place.

On those months that there are classes, I work during weekdays every after class and whole day during every Saturday. And I only receive a weekly allowance of Php200 or $4 and honestly, that is not enough for me to spend in a span of one week. And during vacation period, I work from Monday to Saturday literally without pay at all.

It's funny but I do feel jealous sometimes to our other staffs when I see them smiling so widely during pay day because of getting getting paid for their work.

But thankfully, just when I was about to feel so burnt out, I have found read.cash
