According to our national hero Jose P. Rizal, the youth, our children are the future of the world, the hope of our nation. And they are tomorrowos people. But how could that be if these children will pave their way to destruction? Who will be the one to blame? And who is responsible for this?

With the violence uprising in our country, it has been observed that children play a big role in the process. Wayward kids are often product or result of a broken family and social influences of peer group to their behavior that sometimes lead to obstraction of a bright future planned for them. Some of these behavior are minor offenses such as begging, alcohol intake or even worst, and drug use that leads them to commit heavier status crimes. The absence of good parental guidance to the children sometimes leads them to commit criminal behavior which is being manipulated by adults. Children are being used for the benefits of adults as a result of harsh treatment of authorities because of their weak characters that was never obtained from their parents. Without the presence of loving and understanding guardians, children seem to seek the feeling of belongingness to their peer group. And in return, adoptive children will slowly adhere and internalize what he sees in them without questioning what is right or wrong.

Wayward kids must not be condemned. We must have to educate them to understand that life will not just end the way they wanted it to be. They must know that there is a brighter tomorrow waiting for them beyond the horizon.

Closing Thoughts:

Good parenting is really a big factor in molding a good child. Guardian is the one who is responsible for the person that their child would become. Home is his first school and his family is his first teachers.

So to all the parents and guardians out there, don't let your child grow as wayward person. Educate them. Mold them to become a better person. Be a good example for them!

As for me, I am just so glad that I have a good parents. A good parents who helped and molded the person that I am now.

Totally agreed bhie! Tho it's not all the time that it's the parents fault. Pero napakahalaga talaga ng good, right and proper parenting. Magandang foundation yun para sa mga bata.
