Five days is too short to tour India. And you have heard the story of Delhi Agra a lot, today I will tell the story of a new place.
Anyway !!
First take a flight from Bangladesh to Bangalore, from there take a train to Hospet. The train will take only 6 hours. Near Hospet is Hampi, the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire of ancient India. Hampi was one of the richest cities in the world in the fifteenth century. Hampi is said to be the world's largest open air museum, with an area of about 19453 hectares, thousands of temples and ancient city ruins. Hampi is one of the 37 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India.
The most interesting of these temples is the music room of the Vithala temple. There are innumerable stone pillars (Musical Pillars) in this room. Although the pillars look the same, which ones are tabla, which are damru and which are tanpura. It is very difficult to believe without seeing this thing.
Another important temple is the Birupaksha temple. This Shiva temple, which is about 700 years old, is one of the best examples of Dravidian art in India. Earlier, there were 450 elephants in this temple.
The easiest way to get around Hampi is to rent a bicycle or a motorbike. There is still a lot to see in Hampi for two or three days. So you can take part in all the sports activities in Hampi. For example, rock climbing, cycling. Hampi is very popular with foreigners. Hampi is said to be the hippie's paradise in India. Some of them come in search of spirituality, some of them are addicted to adventure. You too can go out with them in search of any adventure.
Tenali Raman used to do his poetry sitting on the top of this hill, now though no one does poetry here but the place is ideal for rock climbing. We climbed to the top of this hill.
The form of the mountains here is very diverse, with piles of stones all around. According to the old tradition, Ramchandra's monkey army took stones from this region and built Ramsetu in Lanka.
Hampi Reservoir and Step Well. Archaeologists are still struggling to gather enough evidence before reaching the final conclusions about the location of the site.
Tell me these? The food dish of the people of that time. See what a huge size !!
Stone Chariot of Hampi, its picture can be seen in our 50 taka note.
It takes a total of three days to visit Hampi, after which you can visit Goa or Bijapur, the capital of the Bahmani Empire, both very close to Hampi. But I think everyone should go to Goa once in a while, especially during the Sunburn Festival. We also spent the first three days in Hampi and the last two days in Goa. The view of the train journey from Hampi to Goa is very beautiful, this is the way you will see Dudhsagar waterfall.
Did you remember Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express?
You will find detailed information about Goa on the internet, so I am not writing more about Goa. But don't forget to go to Goa and eat SAARC pie soup.
Cost Cost-
If you go to Hampi, you have to do homestay, we three friends went in 2017. The rent for a room for three was only 300 rupees. You will not find Bengali rice pulses there but you will get delicious big dhosa for only 25 rupees. And the cost of riding a motorcycle is only 100 rupees per day. So at around Rs 3,000 for one, Hampi will be comfortable.
Meanwhile, the cost of traveling to Goa depends on you. Everything from Rs 1,000 to Rs 50,000 rooms are available in Goa. Even then, about 6,000 rupees will be spent for two days.
The right time to visit-
In winter, especially from November to February. The Sunburn Festival takes place from the last week of December to the first week of January but at that time there is an extreme crowd of foreigners.
For those who wish to visit Hampi, it will not happen due to lack of time. The novel is written in the context of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Although the empire was destroyed during the rule of the Tungabhadra period, the river remains today.
