Meditation denotes the practice of thinking deeply in silence, especially for religious reasons or in order to make the mind calm. In other words meditation refers to a broad variety of practice that includes techniques designed to promote relation, build internal energy or life force and develop companion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness.
The term meditation carrices different meaning in different contexts. Meditation often involves an internal effort to a self- regulated mind in some way. Meditation often used to clear the mind and ease many health issues such as high blood pressure, depression and anxiety.
It may be done in sitting or in active way. Meditation may also involve repeating mantra closing the eyes.
