After dinner, I decided to buy myself a yam cake from a street-side at Desa Setapak. They sell it for RM2.50 each.
This Yam Cake correct name should be called Taro Cake because this is actually made from Taro, not Yam. In Malaysia, they call it Yam Cake due to mistranslation.
It is a popular snack amongst the Malaysian, it is a steamed kuih made from Taro pieces, dried prawns, and rice flour. Normally it comes with deep fried shallots, spring onions, chillis and dried prawns on it and is usually served with a sweet sauce. This one come with some sambal in it.
