At the KLCC Suria Mall entrance that connects to the LRT KLCC station, there is a new shop call Toast Maker. I decided to come here to have my dinner to check out their food. The shop specializes in toast sandwiches.
After looking at their menu, I decided to order their Hawaian toast which is sold at RM14.90. Inside contain Grill Chicken match with marinara sauce, cheese, peppers and pineapple slice.
For those who don't know what toast is, it is the bread that has been browned by exposure to heat. The browning is the result of a Maillard reaction, altering the flavor of the bread and making it firmer so that it is easier to spread toppings on it. Toasting is a common method of making the bread more palatable.
