This actually happens 2 days ago, I was wondering what to eat and I decided to try only eating fruit rojak for my lunch.
This stall only sells in 2 types of portions, small for RM6, Big for RM8.
I order for myself a small portion and add on a crunchy Fritter that costs RM1.50 per piece. In total it cost me RM7.50.
For those who don't know what fruit rojak is, it is a salad dish. The dish consists of cucumber, pineapple, jícama, bean sprouts, taupok and youtiao. Unripe mangoes and green apples are less commonly used. The dressing is made of water, belacan, sugar, chili, and lime juice. Ingredients vary among vendors, with some adding prawn paste, tamarind, or black bean paste to the mix. The ingredients are cut into bite-sized portions and tossed in a bowl with the dressing and topped with crushed peanuts and a dash of ground or sliced torch ginger bud.
Here are the ingredients they use for my fruit rojak.
Here are pictures of my fruit rojak I have when I am eating it at home.
