Today afternoon at Sam's Groceria, I notice a new Japanese stall open at Sam's Deli. Previously it is close due to the lockdown, now it is taken over by another group.
At the moment that it is not many options due to lack of people eating outside even though dine-in is allowed.
After looking at what is available, I decided to buy the Futomaki California Roll which is RM15.60 per box, inside contains 8 pieces of California rolls.
A California roll is a makizushi sushi roll that is usually rolled inside-out and contains cucumber, crab or imitation crab, and avocado. Sometimes crab salad is substituted for the crab stick, and often the outer layer of rice in an inside-out roll is sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds or roe such as tobiko from flying fish.
After I buy their Futomaki California Roll, I get myself a cup of teh ais along to enjoy my meal.
