The Singapore Mint proudly presents the Singapore Currency Design Souvenirs, featuring the $1,000 Singapore Bird Series Currency Note design.
The Singapore Bird Series Currency Notes (1976 – 1984) feature a bird on the left side of the front of each note. The $1,000 note from the Bird series was first issued on 7 August 1978, and features the Brahminy Kite. The Singapore $1,000 banknotes are one of the world’s most valuable and sought after banknotes to own.
These currency design souvenirs:
- contain the word “SPECIMEN” in black and bold lettering diagonally across the souvenirs
- are not more than 60% of both the length and width of the genuine note
- feature only one side of the note design
