Serai nasi kerabu
Yesterday I attend the Company dinner at the Serai restaurant, this restaurant is located at the Jaya Shopping Mall.
The head told us that we are allowed to order one main dish and one drink.
After looking at the menu, I decided to order nasi kerabu and minted calamansi soda.
The minted calamansi soda drink is a cup of ice cream soda with crushed mint leaves and fresh calamansi.
After waiting and chatting with friends, the nasi kerabu arrived. This dish contains blue-tinted rice served with ayam percik, salted egg, ulam, solok lada, keropok ikan accompanied with budu sauce.
Nasi kerabu is a Malaysian cuisine rice dish, a type of nasi ulam, in which blue-coloured rice is eaten with dried fish or fried chicken, crackers, pickles and other salads. The blue colour of the rice comes from the petals of Clitoria ternatea (butterfly-pea) flowers, which are used as a natural food colouring in cooking it.The rice can also be cooked with plain white rice or rice cooked using turmeric. It is often eaten with solok lada (stuffed peppers) and is also eaten with fried keropok.
Here are some other side dishes the company ordered for us.
I wait your article sir because I know its all about food and I love reading food article. Its always the same, all delicious sir.
