Time to revisit another restaurant after months of lockdown, this time it is Roti Chai Restaurant.
The restaurant specializes in Punjabi cuisine. While the food is a bit pricy, the quality of the food they cook is worth the money.
Since I already cook my own rice at home, I only come here to buy the butter chicken dish.
It cost RM12.50 and only have 3 pieces of chicken meat.
So what makes it expensive? It is due to the sauce.
The sauce is a tomato and onion based sauce that is simmered until smooth and much of the water has evaporated. And trust me, you will need a lot of tomato paste to make a good amount of this sauce. Normally when it is done, a chunk of butter will be placed on top of it.

The restaurant opens from 10 am to 10 pm every day except on Tuesday. It is located at the Desa Setapak Area.
