Ren noodles with truffle oil and shredded duck meat

Today I visited the Ren restaurant at KLCC Suriall Mall for lunch, Ren is a restaurant specialising in Shanghainese and Xinjiang Cuisine

This time I order their noodles with truffle oil and shredded duck meat. It cost RM38.05 after including the 16% service tax.

For those who don't know what truffle oil is, it is a modern culinary ingredient used to impart the flavour and aroma of truffles to a dish. The ingredient is commonly used as a finishing oil in a variety of dishes, including truffle fries, pasta dishes, pizzas, and puréed foods such as mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. It gives the food a slightly garlicky with a deep musky aroma.

Here are pictures of my noodles with truffle oil and shredded duck meat. The noodles contain shimeji mushrooms, black fungus mushrooms, spring onion and roast duck. This dish is great for truffle lovers.
