This front-end coin design illustrates the transformation of the RMAF aircraft, symbolized by the first aircraft of the RMAF Twin Twin Pioneer and its latest aircraft purchased "Sukhoi Su-30MKM". The line connecting both aircraft shows the progress that the RMAF has traveled over the past 50 years in flight history. The 50th Anniversary of the Royal Malaysian Air Force and 1958 and 2008 are on the side of the coin, which shows the achievement of the RMAF.
