Isetan in the KLCC Suria Mall is having a Korean food fair until 3rd of November 2021. They are selling korean fried chicken, teokbokki, kochi omuk, kimchi pancake, cheesy corndoy, japchae and gimbap.
After looking at the food they sell, I decided to buy the cheesy corndog which is sold at RM10 per stick.
A corndog is a sausage on a stick that has been coated in a thick layer of cornmeal batter and deep-fried. It originated in the United States and is commonly found in American cuisine. In Korea, it is a popular street foods. A corn dog is usually called "hot dog" in the Korean language (핫도그), creating confusion with a genuine hot dog.
The cheesy corndog contains mozzarella cheese inside it. The staff will reheat the corndog when you buy so you can stretch the cheese when you eat.
