Expressoul Restobar roast pork nasi lemak

Today I needed to pass some items to a friend at Sunway Velocity Mall, so I decided to have my lunch at Expressoul Restobar.

after looking at the menu, I ordered their Roast Pork Nasi lemak which cost RM26.55 after including the 16% Service tax.

For those who don't know what nasi lemak is, it originates in Malay cuisine and consists of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. It is commonly found in Malaysia, considered the national dish.

nasi lemak is served with sambal sauce and usually includes various garnishes, including fresh cucumber slices, ikan bilis, roasted peanuts, and hard-boiled or fried egg. As a more substantial meal, nasi lemak may also be served with an additional protein dish such as fried chicken, sambal sotong, small fried fish, cockles, and rendang daging.

Expressoul Restobar serve their nasi lemak like usual, it contains fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk, ikan bilis, roasted peanuts, hard-boiled egg and sambal sauce. The only thing that makes it slightly different from the usual is the curry gravy and roast pork.
