Today dinner, I have it at the Empire Sushi at Avenue K. It has recently reopened for dine-in as well. You will notice this branch has a set menu which I believe I never see in their other branch.
After looking at the menu, I order the Unagi rice set. The Unagi rice set is priced at RM24.90, it comes with green tea and miso soup. The green tea is an unlimited refill.
For those who don't know what Unagi is, it is the Japanese word for freshwater eel, especially the Japanese eel, Anguilla japonica. Unagi is a common ingredient in Japanese cooking.
Unagi is often served as part of unadon, a donburi dish with sliced eel served on a bed of rice.
Inside the Unagi rice bowl also have a half hard-boiled egg and shredded cabbage with sesame sauce on it.
