Today I visit a fruit stall at the Desa Setapak to buy durian for my lunch. I originally wanted to buy a whole durian but it will cost around RM27 so I decided to buy the smaller portion that cost only RM13.
The type of durian they sell is D24. Durian D24 which is also known as Durian Sultan is one of the most popular durian clones in Malaysia.
The Sultan or D24 durian comes with yellow, thick, firm, smooth, and sweet flesh. The better ones during peak season is normally dry and firm which local call it “Gan Bao”.
