Today dinner, My friends take me out for dinner at Chef Wan Restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant name is referring to Redzuawan bin Ismail who is a Malaysian celebrity chef, television host, actor, restaurateur, and entrepreneur.
The restaurant is known for serving many great mixed cuisine dishes created by Chef Wan using his experience from tasting great food from different cultures and communities.
After looking at the menu, I order the Jamaican Fish and Chips which is priced at RM48 before service tax included. It is a dish consist of red snapper filler marinated with Jamaican spices and coated with special batter served with fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce.
The fish and chips is very delicious, the fish is great, the salad is unique. Totally worth the buck, highly recommend you try it if you like fish and chips.
Here are some other dishes my friend ordered for dinner at this restaurant.
This is Flammkuchen "German Pizza", the pizza has soup cream spread evenly, topped with loads of beef bacon strips, sweet holland onion slices, and flooded with a mixture of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
This is Provencal Roasted Chicken, it uses free-range farm chicken marinated with chef Wan's selection of herbs, roasted to juicy perfection, served with rich mashed potato, buttered vegetables, and black truffle chicken jus.
This dish is called Fettucine with wild mushrooms and truffle. It is a plate of Fettucine pasta served in a white cream sauce with wild mushrooms and truffle, with a perfect sous vide egg to complete.
Good day! you got some nice looking pictures there mate, the food is looking so delicious. I honestly would prefer eating the chicken one but everyone has his own taste. The Jamaican fish is so exotic for me as I never heard about it before. Must have tasted good I assume. Thank you for sharing those tasty pictures and this article with us.
