Today's breakfast I have the English shortbread Hazelnut, another one of the four-item I buy at a discount price from Mereato hypermarket for only RM2. This is produced by artisan biscuits company in the United Kingdom.
For those who don't know what Shortbread is, it is a traditional, unleavened Scottish biscuit usually made from one part white sugar, two parts butter, and either three parts oat flour or four parts plain wheat flour.
unlike many other biscuits and baked goods, shortbread does not contain any leavening, such as baking powder.
The packaging for this shortbread is different from the normal shortbread, this uses see-through packaging. Overall the shortbread is good and has a strong Nazelnut and butter taste.
